Default can you replace a resistor on the cooling fan?

01 Saab 9-3 SE. Resistor is bad in the cooling fan, can I replace just the resistor(the fan is good, but the resistor is bad)?

chech the power of your blower fan .. if you got 12 volts then your fan is bad but if no power the resistor is dab
