75 Camaro won't Turn?

i believe my alternator is diying on me so i disconnected the battery to swap it with my Volvo's, well the connections were different so i had to put the Camaro's back in. so now i reconnected it, now it won't even star with a jump. did i reconnect the battery wrong? is there a specific way to connect the battery?

The black cable goes on the - (negative) battery post and the red cable goes on the + (positive) battery post.

did you make sure your connection with the alternator is completely connected... and also make sure there is no build up on the terminals completely clean them and make sure they are really tight... if its not tight enough... it will not start... so try that.. and if nothing.. you may have to take you battery to nearest autozone and get it checked .... they will tell you if its bad for free.
