I have a convertible Saab 9-3 (2003) with 50,000 miles on it. This is the second time this has happened. Both times I have tried to turn the car on- i will turn the key and everything in the car will come on- and the engine check says ok- but the car will not start. No engine noise or anything. I fiddle around the with steering wheel and shifter and still nothing happens. Both times ive walked away frustrated and come back, tried again and it will start fine and drive like normal..
Any suggestions? I only have a few days left on my warranty from the dealer!
Could be an electrical problem...once you have them, they are really hard to find and fix, however. And they never seem to fuss up when you need them to (ie: when you take them to the dealer to get worked on, etc.) but good luck with that!
99 percent u need crank position sensor this is very common problem w/ saab starting circuit the power of ur ignition switch pass thru crank pos switch and then to ur starter what happen is ur crank position sensor is not sending 12 volts to ur staretr
