where is the ecm on a 87 cavalier ?

ok i dont have a repair manual for my car yet but i am wanting to know were is the ecm on my cavalier i was told it could be under the passenger front seat then also could be in the fire wall i know its not in under the seat but i looked at the fire wall could it be in the dash or what ?
