Default i have a 99 chevy cavailer 2.2?

i am doing an engine swap and while the new enigne is out but performance things can i do... cheap is good and yes i know about the K&N air filters and cold air intakes but what els can i do that is some what cheap and easy to do. and a good place to look
... the new engine is not NEW but a rebuild from another cavy
