first car addons? what can i put in a 1972 chevelle?

im 15 and i just got my first car early so me and my dad can work on it. its a 1972 chevelle SS with a 400 ci engine. the engine already has a racing cam in it. im wonder what i can do to make it a really good drag car. i was thinking heads, headers, a highrise manifold, a 4 speed tranny, and bigger tiers. any other suggestions? the car is in PERFECT shape and nothing needs to be done to it interior or exterior wise

So why destroy a classic? Build something else and keep the Chevelle as-is so it retains it's value.
