Default How do you remove the stock cd player in a 99 Ford Mustang?

a 99 has 2 different models. If there are 2 holes on the each side of the radio, then there are removal keys to pull it out. This is the easiest solution as you can get them from Pep boys or some other parts store. You have to use those keys to properly push the pins and remove the radio.
The other style around that year is the radio with tabs. If you dont have those holes, you are going to have to pop the trim piece off. You will start around the shifter. Pop that piece off and there should be 2x 7mm or Phillip screws on the bottom of the trim panel, from there you pop the rest of the dash piece off and disconnect the Clock (if equipped on trim). There should be 2x 7mm screws holding the radio in at the bottom. From there is cake!
