I have a 95 sunfire pontiac. The other night I was leaving and as soon as I turned on my air everything went dark no headlights or anything and the brake was hard to press so I guess you could say it stalled first time ever. Now my turn signals dont blink like they should & I have things that never were there before like my seatbelt light stays on even tho Im wearing it and a green light on the left side looks like a shower head never seen it before keeps blinking. When im driving my lights on my dash get dim and radio goes off & on. I never had a problem like this before & ive had my radio put in for awhile now what do you think this is???

The Automatic door is on the passengers side.
When ever we push the button so it will close is starts beeping when it is almost closed. Then it reopens. To close it we have to put it in drive while it is closing so it will stay shut.
And we do not know what is wrong with it? If you have a suggestion on why it won't close please leave your suggestion.

Auto Problem Question (2000 Pontiac Grand Prix)?

Basically, what is happening is that my key won't turn into the release position. I know of 4 positions for the key to be in. Off (allowing me to pull the key out of the ignition). Off (not allowing me to pull the key out of the ignition), that position right before you turn it on where all the guages light up and the gas guage turns on and everything, lights come on...ya know. and the final one is when the car is running. well, i can turn my car off, the headlights go off and dome guages go off and everything, but i can't pull my key out of the ignition. using plyers and leverage to turn the key back into the original position, i accidentally pulled my key out of the ignition. now the car can run without the key being in it. i really don't mind this issue except FOR THE FACT THAT MY CAR IS GOING DEAD AFTER A DAY OF NOT DRIVING IT. i was told that it is the ignition tumbler and that not being able to turn it back all the way is ACTUALLY leaving the front circuit that controls car stereo etc on which is running my battery dead. it used to go dead if it sit for a week without running, then it was 2 days.... now it is, i drive it for an hour, turn off the car and get out, it wouldn't start up if i were to wait just 1 minute. please help me identify the problem.

we have had the car i just described above for 10 years. what are some of the common problems with this engine...aside from the manifold leaking water

heres a little history on the car. it was a display/testdrive car for a dealership, it has leather, and the 3.06 final drive with the sport suspension pkg. it was stolen, and wrecked, so the dealership fixed it, and sold it to my uncle in 98. a month before my uncle died in 2000, he put a new trans in it, and then we inherited when he died. it ran until 2004, and sat for 4 years, untill me and my grandad fixed some major mechanical probs...(faulty intake gasket leaked water into engine). its had 21k put on it since,(171,000miles total) and now it has rough idle, but runs great above 1500 rpm.

know any problems generaly associated with this motor/drivetrain?

I have a '77 Pontiac Trans Am with the original 400 Pontiac engine, but it has several modifications. It has been switched from hydraulic lifters to solid lifters. I believe it has a different cam, and it has an aftermarket Turbo installed. The mechanical fuel pump just went out, and my mechanic is noticing some loose lifters on one side of the engine. He can't remember what the clearance ought to be, though. Anyone know?
