I'm not sure if it started when the weather started getting cold or not, but it probably did. It used to start up pretty much immediately, but suddenly it has to turn over a few times before starting. And today the engine died when I shifted from reverse into drive after pulling out of a parking spot. I know a tiny bit about cars, and I'm sort of thinking one of the temperature sensors, but I can't really think which... what's probably going on?

Cadillac Seville 1986 cracked block issue?

1986 Cadillac Seville was purchased 2 years ago, came from a Cadillac dealership. It started having engine problems right away, now the engine has to be replaced due to damage caused by oil mixing with coolant. This is a second owner for the car and it has only 40K on it. My take is that dealer sold the car with a known unaddressed issue (listed in service bulletin) and to cover themselves they sold some shady extended warranty. Since the warranty company turned out to be a total scam, is there any way to collect the damages from the dealer?
