does anyone know what kind of a falure i would have if the soleniods went bad. my transmission will enguage but it feels like the brakes are on. you can floor the pedel and it will just sit there locked. do you think this is an electrical issue or a much bigger internal issue. how do i tell. thank you for your help

Red blinking light issue 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring 3.5?

I left my car in the garage for two days with the key in the ignition but not turned at all. When I went to turn the car on it started for a few seconds and then died. We attempted to jump start the car but eventually the motor wouldn't even turn over and all electronic systems shut down. I replaced the battery and then went to start the car. All of the electronics are working again but I have a blinking red light now below the fuel gauge and a (electric volt) symbol lit up on the dash. I just would like to know what I need to do in order to get the car started again. It is parked in the garage front end in and all of the fuses are fine. PLEASE HELP! This car has been nothing but trouble!!

About a month ago my car wouldn't start. No clicking, nothing. I took it into the shop and they said that all they could find was a blown fuse - and it fixed the problem...but they don't know what caused it and if it happens again, then more tests would have to be run. A few days ago, same symptom - car wouldn't start. Got it towed to a different shop bc it was the closest to my place. I told them about the situation and they took a look at it. They said the same thing. Fuse blew. But they don;t know what is causing it. They told me that the recommend taking it to th e dealer because they can't go deeper into what is causing the issue. So now it is a few days later - and it blew again.....what should I do? taking it into the dealer, its 104 dollars for diagnostic. I am so broke right now. Ive put so much money into this car. Should I just sell it? or trade it in??

was told a while back that the catalytic con was bad then the other day was going about 10mph and there was a noise under the hood and the car died and wouldnt restart my friend unhooked the exaust system to see if the cat con was the problem and it didnt start how do i know if its the timing chain i can get the kit for 170 and the gasket kit for 80 should i try it.
my friend said it must be the timing chain but could find out that there is a valve bent when he digs into it also said he might need special tools to fix trying to figure out the best way to adress this without getting a different engine.
