I called the dealer and they quoted me about $230.

Its a non turbo base Volvo 940. The car is underpowered. I don't mind if its slower acceleration (im sure it will be minor) But I do mostly highway travel at 65 miles an hour.

I drove the car before and it runs really nice. The interior is still in great condition. But there are two problems;
1) I think it needs a new battery because every time you start the car, it needed a jump box. How much would a battery for that car cost?
and 2) Only when I would turn the wheel all the way left there would be this noise, like a grinding noise. I asked the dealer and he said that the right tire was griding on the front bumper. How much would that cost to fix as well?
I am buying this car at a auction; so the dealer wants $5,500, but the biding started at $4,500 and didn't get sold. Its an automatic, with a sunroof, heated seats, these headlights that move with the car, geartronic (manual and automatic) and of course your basic features like power windows and cruise control. I know that is kind of pricey in comparison to my second favorite the Ford Fusion (2010). Do you guys think that this s40i is a good deal?
