I'm strongly considering buying a 1991 Saab 900 Convertible with a 4 cylinder turbo from a local dealer here soon. What problem areas specific to this car should I look for, in a Saab this age? I plan on inspecting the car tomorrow morning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

mpg in my manual 2004 saab 93 aero?

Right now I'm averaging about 21.4 mpg. This is much lower than what I've read it should get and lower than it was when I purchased it from the dealer. I'm willing to concede that the cause is my driving. I used to drive a car that didn't have a tach so I just shifted by feeling, but when the numbers weren't looking to good I decided to try and shift up when I hit 3 on the tachometer. I thought that was the most fuel efficient way to drive. Then I read that it was best to just shift into a higher gear as soon as possible, in other words, lower than 3 but that doesn't seem to make a difference either. How can I get the most fuel economy (mpg) out of my car? I'm preferably looking to hear from saab drivers but all are welcome!

...Gearbox...etc? I have a 1997 Saab 900s and the following lights are on while I was driving: INFO DISPL, Test Brake Lights, Check Engine, Check Gearbox, ABS, Battery, triangle shape with exclamation mark inside it.

Then it started to slow down and eventually it stopped running. However, when I allow it to sit for a couple of hours, it will start up again but with all on the lights on.

ANY ADVICE OR SUGGESTIONS WILL HELP......

Does my 2003 Saab 9-3 Arc need a bi-xenon or xenon headlight bulb?

It has projector headlights, and high and low beam both emit light out of the same projector. I was wondering if you need a special "bi-xenon bulb" or would a regular "xenon" bulb work as well?

Since the high and low beams come out of the same projector, i was thinking that the light is constant anyways because high and low is affected by a motor that lifts a shield letting more or less light out for high and low beams. So i don't know if there is a special bulb or not
