I have a 200 porsche 911 and i had to add about 1/2 gallon of coolant to it,

even though there are no apparent? leaks, I immediately thought it must be getting into the oil, so I took of the oil cap and there was a yellowish, brown sludge look on the oil cap and filler tube, Is this more than likely a head gasket or cracked head? There is no white smoke coming from the exhaust tips?

83 Porsche 944 will not start after replacing timing belt?

Replaced timing belt, valve cover gasket, dist.rotor, and plug wires. Car now will not start. It will not even fire. What could be the problem?

1983 Porsche 944 Won't start?

Ok, So I have a 83 944, It sat for about 2 years. Reason for that was the timing belt got worn down and the balancer belt broke. So I redid the belts. Timed correctly, Drained out old fuel, I'm getting spark and im getting fuel coming thru the injectors..Still I can not get the car to start. It just turns and turns, What could be the problem? It has me stumped

I would really love to purchase a porsche cayenne, but i have been hearing a lot of speculation on the bose sound system. Is it as good as the mercedes' harman/kardon. Is it true " no highs, no mids, no lows, it must be bose? I really want to know if the sound system on the cayenne is as good as the H/K or possibly better? How reliable are Porsche's?

Hey guys, im looking at a Porsche... i want a fun car to drive.. Its a 1998 Porsche Boxster, and it has around 70,000 miles on it...Im wondering how reliable are Porches? if anything big did go wrong with the car how much would it cost to fix and so on... How long can i expect this car to last without totally breaking down? Did the 1998 boxster have many problems?
