Also there is a noise that sounds like a spinning tape deck coming from the center console when the car is completely turned off...there is no tape deck either!!...any suggestions/ideas??

The car has 68k miles and I never changed the shocks ever since I first bought it brand new. The ride comfort is not the same as before. Seems like thr front right shock is gone because everytime I go into a little pothole there's a funny little noise and I also feel it on the steering wheel.

What I'm asking is, does anyone know any comfortable stock shock absorbers? Brand names w.e.
