Did a tune up on Lexus SC300 and lost most power/torque Please help!!!!?

ok, i did my tune up fluids, spark plugs, spark plug wires, battery, distributor cap. Before a tuneup car ran pretty quick, now its dragging balls now. It accelerates quick until it hits 4500-5200 rpm, then its SUPER SLOW. it takes me abt 1/4 mile to get 0-60. I read somewhere that it might be fuel pump or some ****. So i changed it to Walbro 255lph, still same thing. Someone else told me that it also might be torque converter-but it shifts gears like its brand new tranny. So please help me out.

2010 Luxus RX350 versus 2010 Acura MDX?

My wife and I are looking at purchasing a new SUV and we are looking mostly at the above two models. (we are test driving the RX next week)

My question is:

1. We get quite a bit of snow, which AWD system would be the better one? Or are they both fairly comparable?

2. Which one would you choose given the choice?

3. Has anyone heard of quality differences between the two? We are looking for something that long term will be fairly reliable

4. Any other views on the two choices? Are there others that you would recommend?

Thanks all

is this a good deal for a 04 lexus gs 300?

A friend of mine found a posting on his office bulletin board for a 04 GS300

here are the specs -

2004 GS 300
$14,900
-50k miles
-privacy tint
-moonroof
-heated seats
-everything else is standard equip

From carfax report no issues reported, also vehicle was serviced consistently at Lexus dealership every 6-8 months approx.

Just wanted to know a few things from the gurus here:

1>is this a fair/good deal, what is price that you would offer, as i would like to save some money for mods and future repairs

2> are there any common/known issues i need to look out for on this model year

3>Im not sure of the service intervals for Lexus, but are there any large upcoming services I will need to do, and what is a ball park cost for those.

4>Is there anything to watch out for in the test drive for a car of this age

Im a bit new to buying a car as I have been lucky enough to always get corporate leases from my dads work, so I never needed to buy a car ever till now since his company is discontinuing the benefit.

Any guidance is appreciated!
