It is my test in 3 weeks time. I had another lesson today and we are doing just practising now. I start off well, however when we do this thing called a "mad mile" (which is a mile in which there are 3 big roundabouts, approaching in one is different to the norm. and the speed limit is faster) I seem to mess up after that and I mess up the rest of my lesson. Some of the mistakes I make are:

- I approach the roundabout too fast, and I can't go into second quickly enough and so I might skip it.
- Because I am approaching too fast, I pull up the handbrake to stop before the car has stopped (as there is a car in front of me).
- I can't start off the roundabout quickly enough; lifting the clutch up right and giving enough gas
- I rush my gear changes and am too aggressive with them.
- I don't read the roundabout properly (e.g. there is a 'blocker' allowing me to go, instead of giving way to the right - e.g. I approach roundabout, person on my right wants to go straight (normally I would wait), but there is someone already going straight opposite me, meaning he blocks of the guy on my right, allowing me to go).

What is the best way for me to solve these problems? In my test, will they be majors or minors? I need to try and solve a lot of these by next week as my instructor will then decide whether I should move my test back.

Thanks

P.S - I can't practise in a relatives car as I have no insurance and so my dad won't let me :(

Okay, so today my bus had a sub for a driver. Me and my friends were yelling "mom" and she brought us back, without warning or telling us where we were going. The dean singled 4 kids out even though he didn't have proof they were that ones who did it. All the kids on the bus got off a stop so there was only three kids left, but my stop was right after that anyways. Also do you think I will get in a lot of trouble? the dean didn't call me up. Any advice on what to say if he calls my name tomorrow?

Will I get a Ticket ? School bus stops behind me...?

There is a n intersection not controlled by lights and I was taking a left turn. Ofcourse there are oncomming traffic So I have to wait till its clear. (2 Lanes each road). I turn my left signal and then all of a sudden I see the cars in the oncomming traffic stopping and i wonder why... I look at my right side mirror and I see a bus thats stopped. I think it was behind me a little bit but it stopped after me. Since all the cars stopped on the oncomming traffic, I thought okay i can turn left and go. So thats what I did. Was I allowed to do that or did I have to wait? If I waited, there would be so much traffic behind me because Of my left turn and the oppossing cars there would be too much.

So
1. was I allowed to take the left turn because the opposing cars stopped? The bus stopped behind me and I was infront of it.

and

2. Can the bussdriver get my licence plate and write me a ticket if i wasnt allowed? like will i get a ticket in the mail .
Im 17 years old my parents will kill me.

a major road into a minor? (I took my test and I failed on the reverse around the corner because I drifted over the line.)

Having spoken to many people that I know, (including drivers of over 20 years), none of them have ever reversed around a corner except on their tests.

Have you ever used that manoeuvre outside of test conditions?
