Default The key fob in my 1999 Saab 9-3 coupe is seen by the SID but doesn't control the

locks!? When I have the key in the ignition and press the hatch button, the SID tells me that there are two keys and two fobs programmed for the car (the standard). The SID doesn't tell me the batteries are low on the fobs (which it would). They were both working just fine yesterday, I took the car for a long detailing and they guys left the doors open with the key in the ignition for at least 40 minutes. After that, the key fobs will not control the locks or activate the alarm. I press the unlock button 4 times like it says in the manual but still nothing.
What else can I try? I want to avoid going to the dealer if I can since any visit there is expensive. Please help!
