My Murdock Chevrolet reviewVery poor customer service in the service department ! ! !
Bought my car new and within 6months a part in the driver seat broke.
Took the car in to be fixed and after a hour of the service tech seating in the seat, he claimed that there NOTHING wrong with the rocking and rolling seat. A waste of my valuable time and “yes” after taking it back in again they fixed it as I sat waiting for 3 hours. All was forgiven when Mr.Murdock talked with me. But, now it is back in the shop with a oil leak. When I called to make the service appointment, they assured me that I could drive a loaner car home to my home 50 to 60 miles away. To my surprise and no explaination given to me by Murdoks, I was driven to enterprise to RENT a car..even though chevy pays for the rental, it was my charge card that was ran for the deposit. Also, when my car is ready to be picked up by me, I will have to return the rattle trap rental car to the Enterprise office, then from there they will drive me back to the dealership. I can’t return the rental to the dealership (a huge in convience to say the least). From the time I arrived to drop my car off to be repaired to the time I was on the road to go home was 75 minutes……
Two strikes and Murdock is out, two strikes too many……..will never be back for any of their services………….

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewThis place is so dishonest I don’t even know where to begin. 1st like everyone else has said the pictures online are to good to be true. They take off the rims that come with saying those are sold. They promised a lot of stuff to us and was given NOTHING! This is NOT
the reason I’m posting it’s because after 4 months of driving my new vehicle around which is a chevy suburban 2007, we went in to have the oil changed etc- they found NO air filter! I live in the country nearest town 50 miles away, we live on a potato farm and yes have driven in the harvest.
Yes! My car has damage and Yes! They are getting their car back! We have already called and they’ve tried to make excuses. We will get a lawyer involved!

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewI took my truck in for power steering line leaks and was told it wasnt covered even though my truck was only 6 months old AND had an extended warenty than Becky had the nerve to say if you brought it in to them for routine maintance like oil changes she would be more willing to help so i asked for the owner he than told me the lift that was recomended and installed by whome they recomended ( HIS SON) was a void on the warenty then carried on to say that if i would give him more money towards my extended warenty he would forget about the lift WOW, so than i asked for my extended warenty money back which was $1400 i was told well i can give you $200 but thats it.
Make your own call on this but i would suggest burning your money over giving it to them…………………..

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewI have never been to a dealership that was as honest, prompt and upfront about the entire buying process. I first got ahold of Matt Fredericks, the Internet Manager, via the internet when I started my research for a new Tahoe. I received a call back from Matt within 10 minutes. He answered all of my questions right up front and even gave me very competative pricing on a new LTZ Tahoe as well as pictures of the vehicle. This was on a new one!! Every other dealer sent me back a basic form letter asking the equipment I wanted and when I would like to come in, Non of them called me back. When I arrived at the dealership, he had the vehicle pulled up front for us to see, showed me all the options and even went on a test drive with us. I found this a little odd since Matt is a Manager and not a sales person, but he made us feel that our business really ment something and we were not just another sale. Long story short, after the test drive we decided to make our purchase that night even though we were not planning on it for another few weeks. The finance department was great in explaining our options to finance and we did not spend hours sitting around. Thanks again Matt, and thank you Murdock Chevy!!

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewAs a long time chevrolet buyer I didn’t feel like this dealership stood up to the chevy reputation. There was no feeling of actually caring what I wanted but more what they could get out of the deal. Smoke and mirrors still ends up being a bottom line, I would recommend Carmax or Young GMC. Don’t waste your time going to this dealership. A vehicle I looked at had a fresh oil change sticker and filter, but they did not change the oil and it was the dirtiest oil I have ever seen. This is poor salesman ship and cutting corners. lastly I am not LDS but there was a LDS sermon being broadcasted throughout the dealership making me even more uncomfortable.

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewI was interested in purchasing a 2009 Malibu 2LT with the V6 engine. Was greeted promptly at the dealership, found a car I was interested in. Negotiation was short on trade-in, and bought the car using the Credit Union supply price, so there was no negotiation on that end. Was charged for “custom wheels,” but after doing additional research after buying the car, found out they were not custom. Immediately called my salesperson back, he basically blew me off and told me that I got custom wheels. I was pissed off! E-mailed the salesperson the following Monday (in order to establish a paper trail), 3 days later he finally contacted me & admitted that the wheels were for another customer who did not buy the car, and the wheels were not on the car when I bought it. Finally received a refund for the wheels, but never received the refund for the sales tax I was promised.

My Murdock Chevrolet reviewWe found 4 cars online that we wanted to look at, when we got there, not one of them were on their lot. One they didn’t even know where it was, 2 were already sold and the other one had the wrong pics and info on the website. We find another one we like, they give us a price and then say, “oh, by the way these wheels and tires won’t be on it.” So we let that go and then we just got one lie after another. They told us to go get lunch and they would call within 45 min. Of course, no call, so we call them and they tell us they have been too busy. Oddly enough, while we were there for 4 hours, there were hardly any customers and all the employees were standing around with nothing to do. We were there on Saturday, it is now Monday evening and after being told at least 4 times they would call us back, they never have yet. I finally call them and once again all they can say is how busy they are.
