I purchased a used commercial vehicle private party. I am from Tampa Florida. I flew to Wisconsin to pick it up and drive it back to Florida. But before I purchased the vehicle, I had Beaver Dam Ford do a complete inspection on it as I was about to drive across the country. They said there was no problem with the vehicle. Upon completing my drive we took it to Gator Ford in Tampa Florida to check out again and both my front and rear brakes were shot. We would have spent money with Beaver Dam to replace the pads…..now it turned into a $1900 job instead of a $700-$800 job. We have the support of our local Ford dealership that this should have been caught by Beaver Dam Ford. We contacted Beaver Dam hoping that they would return some of the money spent with them on the inspection so we could apply it to our repair bill and got nowhere!!!! We are very lucky that I did arrive safely in Florida. Never take your car to them.
I purchased my first car there, back in june, my first experience was great! i had no issues what so ever, i recieved everything i was promised, everything was good. I recently traded in that vehical for a more efficiant one, this experience has been horrible. When test driving the car, there was a loud noise in the back, I asked what was making the sound, he told me it was my emergency break rubbing against my tire( the car being stick) but me knowing that it wasnt break noise asked the car to be looked at before i even considered buying it, they checked the breaks they were fine, they then told me that if the car was still making the nosie in a few days to call and set up and apointtment, so thats what i did, i drove 2 hrs round trip to find out that the loud noise in the rear of my new one week old car was caused by chopped tires, The service department then told me that i could purchase new tires for $130 a peice, now i had just purchased the car a week ago, if i would have know i would have needed new tires i would have added it to my loan. after 3 phone calls to the dealership asking if there was anything we could do about the tires they then told me that they would lower the tires to $100 a peice, wow thanks for saving me $60.. I am very angery and will never return..
Bought a used car- definitely was marked up in order to put it “on sale” (it was WAY overpriced, sale price was pretty much a reasonable selling price.) I forgot something in my trade-in and contacted two different people within 24 hours to report it, and no one will get back to me. Apparently once they have your money, don’t expect any customer service!
