STAY AWAY! After reading multiple negative reviews of this dealership on this very site, I made the mistake of giving them a chance. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Their website listed that they had 36 cars available which were the make/model I was looking for. I called the Midway Dodge dealership and asked about 2 vehicles specifically, provided stock #'s and was told that both of the vehicles were in the lot. I then made the hour drive to the dealership to discover that neither of the 2 vehicles were there. One of the salespersons informed me that they were at their other location which is another 45min away. I then asked if he could call that dealership to ensure that the vehicles were definitely there. After giving me a look like I had just asked him for one of his kidneys he picked up the phone and made the call. It was confirmed that both vehicles were at this location. I waited til the next day to make the drive to the other location and before I left the house, called and confirmed with the salesperson that both vehicles were definitely still there, he said they were. I arrive at the location and neither vehicle were there. I was told that both had been sold the previous night, but that they were willing to "work a fabulous deal out with me on any car I chose from the lot". I in essence told them to shove it and left. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste 4 hours out of your life. JUST STAY AWAY! |

Stay away if possible!!!! I should have known that I was in trouble when the first question that came out of the person answering the phone was my contact information.... I contacted the dealership after seeing an advertising at their web page and I was told that the vehicle was available. I had problems coming to the appointment because I had to go out of town and called to cancel it; while out of town I was called by 4 different people from the dealership claiming to be "the manager" asking me to re schedule my appointment and every time I told them that I would call back as soon as I made it back in town to go and see the vehicle. When I came back I contacted Jack and asked him if the vehicle I was interested was still available and he told me that it was still in the lot and that it would be no problem to look at it. I made clear that I was interested only in that particular vehicle and that It would take me more than 1 1/2 hours to make it there from my house and I didn't want to waste my time..... He said that the vehicle was there and I went...... Forget it..... I was received with the attitude you get when you interrupt someone in the middle of eating his favorite meal when starving........ right after telling him my name he stated that he needed to see if the vehicle was still in the lot and after walking only half of the outside lot he said that the vehicle was sold already..... Then he gets mad at me because I reminded him that I told him that I was there just to look at that particular vehicle...... Phishing advertising????? YES! Honesty dealing with possible clients?????? Definetly NOT!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't go there, save the headache for something really worth it..... not for these people. |

STAY AWAY from this dealership. They are notorious for "Bait &Switch" scam. On top of that they are liars and cheats. Here's what I experienced first hand, you will most likely experience the same: You will probably see a low mileage car advertised with a GREAT price on Cars.com (shame on the Tribune Co. for doing business with them) or their own website. You will call in and they will tell you the car is available and they want to set an appointment for you to go see it. THIS IS THE "BAIT" part of the scam. Once you are there, they will first tell you that the Sales Manager is driving it and is out of town or some other lie. Eventually, they will tell you the car was sold and was mistakenly still advertised. THIS IS A LIE!!!! If they ever had the car, they have long since sold it but will continue to advertise because they know that this car will continue to bring in buyers. Now comes the "SWITCH". You will now be told that they have others, unfortunately, none will be comparable to the one you want. They will have more mileage at the same price, or more equipment at a higher price! These tactics are designed to fraudulently attract buyers. DO NOT BUY from Midway Dodge or Midway Kia. They will waste your time, treat you poorly, lie to you and rip you off!!!!! |

Had my car towed there to get a brake problem looked at - One week and one hundred seventy dollars later, I was charged for an hour of labor, a towing charge, and basically told they weren't able to diagnose the problem and I was S.O.L. in terms of getting it fixed. Just really didn't feel like it was even remotely a priority of theirs to figure it out. In the end, I was forced to sell the car to CarMax after it sat on their lot for a week, and had to take a loss on it for the simple fact that I had this ailing car that wasn't a safe car to drive and no one seemed interested in trying to fix it....And they seemed suprised that I wasn't interested in trading it in for another Dodge! Terrible service, dishonest staff, and a run down facility. Keep away! |

do not waste your time with these guys. I was drawn to this seedy dealership through an ad posted on a popular car search engine. the listing was for a used car with low miles for a decent price. i called the number listed and asked if the car i had seen was in stock, they said that it was, so naturally i set an appointment to come in and check it out. i spoke to a lady named "jesse." after driving all the way down there i was greeted by a sleazy guy with a goatee (over abnoxiously loud reggaeton) and asked to speak to a woman named jesse. he said she was out to lunch, and if he could help me. i told him that i was there to see a particular car, and he transferred me to another scumbag named "mike." after sitting with this guy for a while and fielding questions like "why do you like this car so much?" he told me that the car in question was not on the lot, and that it was being "detailed." he said it would be there tomorrow. he ran my credit to see what kind financing i could get. he returned telling me that my credit sucked, which it doesn't, and that "it would be a miracle if i got approved for this car, but that he'd be happy to show me other cars on the lot." i told him that i could finance the car through other means, but was still interested in that particular car. after arguing with this guy for about 20 minutes about other cars in stock, my credit, and his co-workers disregard for my time, he brings his manager around to talk to me. his manager says first, that the car is on another lot, and then, that the car had been sold. at which point i get up, thank them for wasting my time, and leave. ...i also requested a carfax report of the car numerous times, to which dirtbag number one replied that "he did not have access to the vin number." this leads me to believe that the car in question never really existed in the first place. THESE GUYS SUCKED. |

When I walked into the dealership is was like going over to a friends house . The experience was more like helping me buy a car, instead of , selling me a car . I will tell my co-workers and church members all about this company . |
