Highly Recommended!! I e-mailed many dealerships looking for my 2009 XC70. Dorothy at Beach responded with a fantastic price and had the options I wanted. She handled ALL the paperwork before the delivery, since I was located about 100 miles away. Communication was excellent. She met me halfway for delivery, we completed paperwork in 15 minutes, and I drove off with the car I wanted at a wonderful price.
Dorothy called a few days later to check on me...so the relationship didn't end as soon as I made payment.
Dorothy never pressured me or made an attempt to "upsell". Everything was very professional, and I actually felt like I was buying a "luxury" car.
Although I have never been to Beach Volvo, I can highly recommend the sales department for their professional, "no-haggle" approach.
I have a four year old and two-week old and had no time to "play games". Beach was upfront, truthful, and very easy to deal with. I was very happy with every aspect of the transaction.
After working amicably with the salesman for two days (I even took the car to my mechanic for inspection), reaching an agreed purchase price and loan arrangement I called late Fri afternoon to confirm that I was buying the car. The salesman said he was not working on Sat so we agreed that I would pick up the car on Mon. He said the car might sell before then and we both laughed...he asked for my credit card number to "seal the deal" and I gladly gave it to him. Had there been any indication that I needed to go to the dealership, send an email or fax confirmation before Mon, I would have done all three. You guessed it! They sold the car out from under me...for more money!! If this is not illegal it is certainly disreputable. Beware.
