I did check this site prior to buying, but as I learned in my business there are always two versions of things. So I called and asked for Deon. I mentioned the site and comments and expected a defensive reply. Instead what I got was a no excuse very pleasant sales approach. Deon is a remarkable salesman, and was attentive to me and my family. He actually is the manager, but welcomed us into his office to discuss what was important to us before we ever were asked to buy anything. I have to admit the reviews were scary, but in reality the staff and their leader were professional and the process was great. I referred two of my friends to them and got nothing but compliments as well. So, Deon keep up the good work. The dealership is actually the last one open in the area and I saw first-hand why.
Dodge City of McKinney promised to add factory chrome door handles to my truck after the sale and gave me an "adds" slip to show for it. After the sale I had to call them repeatedly to follow up on having the handles installed. After three weeks they finally scheduled an install appointment. When they brought the truck around from the shop they had not installed factory chrome door handes as promised. Factory handles have chrome and also body paint colored parts. What they installed were chromed plastic overlays which they glued over the existing door handles. This is a much cheaper and inferior product than the factory handles. When this was brought to their attention Deon Ramlal advised that the factory handles were "not an option" and they had done everything they were going to do. Even getting rid of the cheap plastic overlays was not an option. I'm stuck with cheap looking plastic glued to my truck as I'm sure prying them off would damage the handles underneath.
This salesperson was the rudest person I have ever had to deal with on a purchase. Not only was he rude to me but I witnessed him yelling and belittling other employees in his office.

I would stay away from Dodge City in McKinney or anyone that deals with Deon Ramlal!
Deon Ramlal is the most dishonest person that Dodge City in McKinney has on their staff. I would stay as far away from this dealership as possible. He is not for your best interest and is out to price their cars at the highest price possible.
It was sick to hear how he also talked to other coworkers, his tone and words were very demeaning to other employees.
I would not buy from him or this dealership and I feel sorry for anyone that has to work there with him.
