If you have money to burn - go to Lithia Subaru in Reno, NV for repairs on your subaru. Keep in mind - they will quote you a "diagnosis" check for $110.00 - but then will tack on an additional $5 to $6 bucks after the fact for "rags" & "cleaners"...not only did they quoted me over the phone $750 to replace both rear wheel bearings, but after the $116 diagonis it was $715 just for one! Oh - and they "recommended" an additional $1,568 worth of work (Smoke and Mirrors!) -suppose that quote didn't include "rags" either, but don't worry - am sure they will tack on the extra 5% after the fact. When I went to go recue my car - he told me it was still up on the lift (after 2 hours... - he was waiting on a call from my husband) and it would be another 15 mins. I went out to the parking lot and my car was sitting there. Not sure what that was all about - but by this time was sure they were violating my vehicle in some way. Guessing the service tech must have just been reassigned from the sales lot - very smooth, and he kept repeating that this was all very minor work - Lithia must be making up for loss in car sales in service repairs. Never again!!! My recommendation? Go to Preferred Auto Care - very professional, honest, and guess what? Fixed the issue in 1/3 of the Lithia's quote!!! Thank you Preferred Auto Care!!!
