My Liberty Subaru reviewWOW Can’t believe this!! The same thing happened to us. after we brought the car home with the new plates and everything we received a threatening phone call saying they made a math error–HA There was no math error whatsoever on the contract. They said we should not have given you so much for your trade in- and so now you owe us more. Can you believe it? more than the amount we already paid on the contract.How crooked is that! We should get a class action suit together on them.HOW can anyone buy a car when the contracts aren’t any good?

My Liberty Subaru reviewDealer refused to refund $500 deposit on a vehicle. They were not able to make delivery on the vehicle in the time frame that was agreed on, therefor i purchased elsewhere that met my timeframe. Deposit was stated as “refundable” on phone.
This is the only dealer i’ve dealt with that refuses to refund a customer’s deposit on a car that was already in-route to the dealer. This was not a custom ordered car nor did they have to get it from another dealer. Any reputable and honest dealer will have no problem refunding $500 to a customer that was not happy with the transaction.
Salesperson does not return email or phone calls on time (takes days for a reply after they took my deposit)
They have the nerve to say that i could use the deposit on a future car!

My Liberty Subaru reviewNever give a deposit for a car to this dealer! If you ever change your mind, they will not refund it. The dealership did not want to refund my $500 simply because I went to another dealer. No amount of pleading or civil conversation will work. I gave bigger deposits to Lexus, Jaguar, Audi and Lincoln and never had issues. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS!

wish i read your post before giving them a deposit. i agree with you 100%
all dealers i’ve dealt with in the past have ZERO problems with refunding a deposit on a car.

My Liberty Subaru reviewAfter walking away from a previous dealership that fulfilled the ultimate dealership stereotype, I was pleased to walk into Liberty Subaru.
I had a great feeling about the dealership and salesmen. They were wonderful, honest and made buying a new car fun and easy.
There was no “sales pitch” just an honest evaluation about the car and my options.
After I made the decision, there was a little drag about the delivery of the car which I suppose one would not have if one lived nearby, but…

You must work for Liberty Subaru on Kindermack Rd and were threatened to write such nonsense. We’ve never experienced more rude and threatening people.
Their signed-contracts are not binding. After the deal is signed for a pre-owned car, sealed, and the car is delivered, plates, papers, the works, they will call you up and say they made a mistake and should have charged you several thousands more money! If you think their contracts should speak for themselves, THINK AGAIN! They will hire their arbitrator to decide that even though there is no signed paperwork to the contrary, the salesman’s notes (whenever they were written) is good enough to demand more money than was negotiated and signed by ALL parties. SCAM SCAM SCAM–LOOK OUT CONSUMERS.
