They honored my internet price quote I received from them. At the time they were a lot lower then other Honda dealers. I was expecting the usual back and forth sales tactics, that we all seem to hate when shopping for a vehicle. However, I was stunned when they honored the price on the internet quote. Of course I had to pay the sales tax and license fee, but that is acceptable. The 2 year free service maintenance was a good touch too. I live in Lynnwood, so I can use the free maintenance. Thanks Klein Honda and the sales team for changing my perception of car dealers.
Do your homework, you are about to spend a lot of money after all. Know what you want to pay and what the value of your trade is. Just say no to “extended warranty”, you can always buy one later for a lot less money. Hold your ground and if things don’t go your way just leave, there a lots of other cars out there.
Klein gave me a total price with montly payments via email, honored it at the dealership. Listened when I said no thanks to high priced accessories that I could buy cheaper on line, let me test drive my car, showed me how everything worked, and sent me on my way.
Their internet department is very accomodating, you can get everything set into motion on line. You will be handed off to a floor salesman when you arrive to close the deal, but it appears you get one of the more senior ones not some of the young clowns I saw slinkng around the place. I had a very good experience at Klein Honda.
Bought a pilot a few months ago after doing a lot of research. There are so many gripes that I have with them I don’t think I can list them all. I worked with the Internet people and I really liked the guy I was working with but they aren’t the one’s that actually work with you in person. The person that was said to be waiting for me was no where to be found after many pages and calls. I evn spoke to him before heading there. Rude and odd. So the guy who ended up helping me was like “well, I guess I’ll help you nice he isn’t coming” but not in a happy way. He pulled around the car that I had called about. It was to have 10 miles on it. Later of course it was over 350 miles. The trip was in and it was showing 18 or 19. It was dark and imassumed the car was new after all. The biggest problem I had was the financing guy. I didn’t finance with him but he had snide comments about me being made of money or something or a lottery winner. Hello I was trading in. Who cares anyway. It’s called savings. After signing a crap load of paperwork for not even having a loan with them THEN the breaks out the warranty options. Holy he’ll these numbers are huge. This is all after the fact. It was the overall attitude of all of the people there that was the problem. I went in to buy. They didn’t have to sell me on anything their job was so easy and yet they were so aloof. The sales person acted like he no place to be or rather I had no other place to be except wasting my time waiting on him strolling around the building. Whatever. I made a really bad choice and I think all of the great reviews on the other sites are BS. All of the salespeople in there just seemed so creepy and slimy. I can’t believe dealerships are still as sneaky and miserable as they were 20 years ago. I remember my parents dreading the experience. Sad really. It’s a lot of money to be miserable.
I Forgot. There were things that didn’t work in the car and it didn’t seem to bother them at all. It was like oh ok. It is buyer beware. It only had 350 miles on it. What did they do to this car??
Alex is excellent – a good entertainer as well as salesperson. We laughed throughout the whole purchase process.
We accepted the dealership’s loan rate without checking with our bank, USAA. What a mistake! We should have obtained approval from USAA first before car shopping – we could have saved a chunk of change.
All promised services were provided promptly and as agreed upon. We have confidence in Klein Honda.
They tried to screw us over big time. Trade in was set way to low, no negotiation in sticker price and they offered a 9.5% loan interets. When I explained that we are better off to go to our own bank to get a loan for 4.99% they turned around and gave us a 4.9% loan. So all over I cut down $12000 in cost. I was very upset that I had to fight for every dollar. I bought a Kia several years ago and my experience was much different. If you buy a car at Klein Honda, don’t take no for an answer and do your HOMEWORK. It could cost you. Check on loan availabillity and interest rate somewhere else BEFORE you accept Honda’s loan offer. Also know exactly what your trade in is worth.
They also offered to take care of registering the new car and de register the old car with my insurance. When I did not get new insurance cards a month later, I found out that they did nothing. I would never buy a car there, but my boyfriend had his eye set on the car and was not willing to walk out.
Did you know Klein Honda does not stand behind the cars they sell for quality and excellence after you sign on the dotted line?
Did you know Klein Honda does not inspect its new cars; they just unload them from the truck and park them on the lot? This is per their Parts and Service Director, Ryan Holmes.
Did you know Klein Honda will sell you a new car damaged at the factory without telling you?
Did you know that if you don’t inspect your new car for any and all possible defects, you will be stuck like me? Bring your mechanic and your body shop guy when shopping at Klein Honda!
Did you know that Klein Honda solution to you buying a new car that is far less than perfect is to repaint it to make it look new?
Oh yes I would keeping going down the road if you need a Honda, unless you want a $37k Pilot like we have with a shade darker colored door, several misaligned body panels, including that door, and then their is the chipping paint on the front bumper. Oh but they will paint it to look new again for you. Who buys a new car to have it immediately repainted to look new? Most people buy new to avoid these headaches. What other product would you buy that immediately starts looking like crap that you could not return for a replacement or a refund? Stay away for Klein if you value your sanity and your hard earned money!
I have never had as great a car-buying experience as I did at Klein Honda. We went in with a budget and had spent the last 3 weekends touring car lots. Everyone was showing us Cavaliers and mini vans. Klein Honda didn’t do that. Our salesman Rich listened to our needs and wants, and then delivered. We bought the 2nd car that we test drove. There was never any pressure, my kid played on the display jet ski, and everyone treated us really well. I will definitely look to Klein Honda for my next car, and I encourage everyone to go there first!
I hadspent my entire Saturday driving around to different car lots and dealing withthe wonderful traffic of todays society to come up empty handed on buying acar. I went back home tired and highly frustrated in my attempt to find thenext dream car. The entire experience just sucked. I wondered if it was worththe hassle to buy my first vehicle. I seriously thought about just buying abicycle and taking the city transit bus. So Sunday morning I had enoughencouragement to try again. This time I decided to try my hometown Everett andstay away from mainstream Seattle area. At the time I thought that I could geta better deal in Seattle, but soon realized this was not the case. So I droveto several local car dealers and was still not “wowed!” Then I stumbledupon Klein Honda in Everett and felt at ease. The atmosphere was different andit just fitted my personality. It could have been the helpful salesman ( exNordstrom employee) so he knew what customer service was about. So I got alongwith him great. We started looking at some cars and then suddenly, I saw it. Itwas perfect and I told him that this is finally the one. It was a black HondaAccord with tinted windows. Man it looked aggressive, I had to have it. So wetalked numbers and came to an agreement that fit my budget. It was actually allpretty easy. I just wanted to tell me story and thank Klein Honda for helpingme find that perfect first car. Thanks again and I do recommend Klein Honda toeveryone! I am sending my grandma there for sure.
I do Highly recommend this dealer
