While searching for a good deal on an Evo X, we were referred to this place by a friend at a pre-owned dealership. We were told we would be given a good deal, and from the door I told Craig I would not pay their requested 5k over invoice. Craig informed me his sales manager agreed to 2k over, and brought me an invoice showing 40k. I asked how this added up to 2k over invoice, when the sticker price was 36k, and was told he would straighten out the numbers and take care of me. Later that night I get a call saying they would need to sell my trade due to negative equity, and had a customer who wanted to see my car (this is against policy mind you, is this how they train their salesmen?!). After realizing his mistake and running my credit all over the country asking nearly 50k for an Evo, which I never agreed to, I was told the general manager would take care of adjusting the numbers as we discussed and would ensure approval.
I never received a copy of the invoice, the amounts they were running my wife and my credit on, nothing at all. At this point Im pretty upset, and a guy named Z (what kind of a name is Z??) approaches me and says they never agreed to 2k over invoice, it was 2k over sticker?! I told him Idve never wasted my time allowing our credit to be run if I was told this up front instead of given the run around. Z told me he would take care of it all, but I would need to sell my trade and they could add the balance to my new loan. After finding a buyer, Im told by the finance manager (after being hung up on and Z not taking my calls) that they could not get it approved, I asked how much was requested and he told me 49k?! By now I still had no copies of any invoice, our credit was shot requesting an amount I never agreed to, and to boot Z acted like he did not know me when I returned for my deposit, I was hung up on previous to going there, and was treated rudely. This place does not deserve your business, get it in writing or walk away!!!!
