My initial interest was through a Sun Chronicle newspaper advertisement for a minivan. After being shown the vehicle by the salesperson, I realized that I just could not purchase another minivan ( it would have been my 5th) even though I felt the need for one with 3 children. Mr. Carpenter and the sales manager were very understanding and recomended an Explorer. I was hesitant since I thought of them as trucks and not family friendly. (I have 3 daughters 11, 8 and 4,. My middle daughter is autistic , and needs space of her own in a vehicle in order to make a trip safe and comfortable.) With this information, Paul told me about how an Explorer with a 3rd seat and the convenient 2nd seat pull back feature may do the trick. When I saw the Explorer, it was clear that this was the right choice. Although quite an upgrade from the original minivan I saw in the paper, the deal I gotr from Franklin Ford had me driving home very pleased in the beautiful Explorer for the same price! I am a very happy customer of Franklin Ford!
