My Ford of Kirkland reviewPurchased an Edge last fall. I am very disappointed with the vehicle it always seemed to be something wrong. Took the vehicle back three times because I smelled something burning. I was told it was the new car smell. After 5,000 miles it still smelled. The fourth time I came in I had a different advisor in the Garage. Come to find out the transmission fluid was leaking. There were a few other minor problems as time went by.
My sales person assured me I would always be given a free loaner. Last week I was told by the Salesperson he could not continue to offer me a free loaner. The salesperson told me he was having to pay for the rentals out of his own pocket and he didn’t make a penny on my vehicle because of how many loaners I have had. The purchase price of the vehicle was $45,000.. If I wouldn’t have had so many problems with the vehicle I wouldn’t have needed a loaner.
I proceeded to tell him I was so very disappointed with the vehicle and with him I was going to get rid of the car. He told me he couldn’t help me and maybe I should contact the used vehicle department.
I sold the vehicle and lost $15,000.00.

A very disappointed customer that does not plan to return to Ford of Kirkland. Sad story.

I have looked at several vehicles to replace one totaled in an accident, and walked away from several situations that I didn’t feel confident about. Todd pulled the vehicle for me the next day, patiently waited when I ran late due to a mixup during an errand I was running, thoroughly walked me through the car to be sure it was what I wanted, prepped the paperwork smoothly, and (and they were nice enough to let me bring my dog in since it was to hot for him to stay outside) even helped my mom look at a car without pressuring her to buy that day. I am so impressed with my experience today. Normally I am completely cynical about the car buying experience, but between Todd and Greg everything ran smoothly,
Also, I did buy the maintenance package, which is something I never would have considered previously; but John helped me breakdown exactly what the package would cover (15 oil changes, 30k service, 60k service) and I did a comparison with a couple of independent shops I have previously used. Ford of Kirkland definitely came out ahead. My mom who has purchased several vehicles said she has never had an “extra” explained so well. I feel great about my purchase, about my car, and about my overall experience. My advice, know what it is you want and what you are willing to pay; but work with Todd to get what you want accomplished.

As we were driving the truck home going south on 405 having the truck for about a half a hour, we were hit by a drunk driver, causing us to roll numerous times. My husband and I survived the accident due the toughness of the Ford but also all of the safety features. I owned a 2006 base XLT and wanted to upgrade both fuel mileage and trim level without increasing my payment. Todd helped me find what I was looking for, which was onsite (they have a great selection of F-150’s). I didn’t feel like they were trying to club me like a baby seal like some other dealerships. They want repeat business and a long-term relationship with the customers. It is a fair and honest relationship between seller and buyer.
What the heck – I selected YES on the purchase and Recommend. I will see if I can edit and re-submit. The pressure was medium and I did not “buy today”. I came in the previous week and walked over price. Better options came down from Ford and we got it to work.

We did not get any of that at Kirkland Ford. Don knew what we were driving 90 miles to see. He had it ready, he explained the features, but there was no pressure. The F & I guy was even very great to work with and when we said “no” to bells and whistles, he put no pressure on us and was every bit as pleasant as he was to start with. Would buy from this dealer again.

But when I talked to Dan, he focused on the car and my needs and provided as much details as I wanteded to help me make the decision. The stress-free conversation was fantastic.
After I decided to buy the car, Dan helped us to go through all the finacing options I could have. Althouth I just moved to the states and didn’t have any credit history, Dan got me the best financing rate.

My Ford of Kirkland reviewI wouldn’t consider myself an easy customer; I was meticulous and did a lot of research. I visited all four Ford dealerships in the area, repeatedly. This was the only dealership that had salespeople who knew more about the car than I did. I sat down with Kyle Corn first, and I already knew what I wanted for the most part. Kyle knew I was visiting other dealerships and was actually able to predict what sales tactics they would use. I still went, just to make sure, but he was right every time.
I spent most of my time with Dan Lozott and I have never met a more honest, straightforward salesperson. He never hesitated to show me information or give me things in writing. He even asked me why I wanted certain features on the car, and for some of them, told me not to waste my money. He gave me advice too, describing how he takes care of his Mustang.
I also spoke with Scott Creason – who appears to know a great deal about the technical aspects of cars – repeatedly. Since I am an engineer, this was a big plus. This car was my first manual transmission and Scott gave me a quick lesson, ensuring I got the car home comfortably.
All in all, they got me the best price in the region, and offered the best experience at the same time. They repeatedly stayed after hours with me (I’m on a weird schedule) and even gave me a bunch of local restaurants they thought I’d enjoy (I’m new to the area). I would recommend you educate yourself (which you should do before entering any dealership) and make Ford of Kirkland your first stop.
