I went into the dealership stating that I needed my vehicle serviced and the rear brake light replaced as it had burnt out. They stated to me that it would cost $423 to replace. I stated that I did not want that service as I felt that was an obscene price to pay. After waiting for TWO hours they finally returned with a write-up, which included a $100 diagnostic charge. Steve stated that they've had problems with the LED lights so they check the connections and everything. Why not replace the light then if there is a problem troubleshoot? He further went on to state that this $100 would be taken out of the $423 if I had replaced it. No one ever informed me of this diagnostic check, made me aware of the price, or asked me if that could be perfomred. I am not impressed and will not be giving them my business again. Furthermore when GM has their hand out to the American people they should be going out of their way to make people happy rather than doing dirty underhanded deeds.
