They sold me a certified pre-owned car with at least a DOZEN problems. I drove hundreds of miles back and forth to get things fixed, and they usually didn't have the parts in, so I had to go back and forth back several times. They were always off regarding their service time estimates, whatever they tell you DOUBLE it, at least! Each time I returned for repairs, I expressed my concern regarding my CPO car having so many problems out of the gate, as it was supposed to have undergone a very detailed inspection. They never had a response and never apologized for my troubles or time they wasted. I even spoke with Mr. Dwight Harrison and his son IN PERSON. They could not explain why my CPO car had so many problems when I purchased it, they very arrogant and just tried to make my concerns sound worthless. I found out later that it was THEIR dealership's responsibility to ensure that my car was up to date with everything. I asked them to pay for a thorough inspection at another dealership to ensure that my car was up to CPO standards and they flat out refused. I spoke with VW of North America and they basically told me that there was nothing they could do to remedy the situation because this dealership was independently owned.
When my husband called and spoke with the son, HE HUNG UP ON MY HUSBAND! Talk about horrible customer service. I will never set foot on their lot ever again, even if someone pays me to. I will also NEVER EVER buy another VW!
I had a very bad experience servicing my vehicle at Dwight Harrision. I was told my vehicle was going to be ready in 30 minutes and it took well over an hour. I was also being treated very poorly. I even spoke to Mr. Dwight Harrison himself, and I had never before encountered such an arrogant person. Not only did he fail to say "sorry" once, but he wouldn't even acknowledge that I was dissatisfied! I would avoid this very bad place.
BEWARE!!!! Dwight Harrison Volkswagen sold me a non-pre-owned car with faulty tires! I had to replace three tires in 7 months! The warranty only covers the body of the car bumper to bumper but the dealership should take responsibility for selling cars will faulty tires.
I purchased a dealership demo car they used for customers to test drive--big mistake! The car was only about 20 months old with 26,000 miles on it. The 06 Jetta was serviced regularly because it was a demo, but the tires were apparently never replaced. I had to purchase three new tires in 7 months!
The owner did not try to help resolve the matter in any way and blamed it all on the tire company. The dealership should have taken some responsibly for selling a vehicle with faulty tires or have replaced them before selling the car with that amount of mileage. Terrible customer service too, please avoid for your own good! :x
