I saw a suv on their website so I decided to take a walk around their lot before I spoke to anyone. Either someone doesn't know how to park cars or someone has been playing bumper cars. Nearly every vehicle I looked at had scratches galore with the front end and bumper scuffed up. Very overpriced.

I am also new at buying cars and looking to buy from this dealership.. I saw them online and thought to myself prefferredauto1.com got some great deals and in my price range since I'm looking to finance since my credit is bad.I also did see another dealership but when i went there no one was attentive to me. I really hate to know that because I'm black, I'm going to be treated like $hit but then again what can i do (HOPEFULLY THAT DON'T HAPPEN).. So anyway i did do my homework and did some review on the dealership and the car (BY THE WAY I WILL HAVE THE CAR CHECKED OUT)and now i don't even know if i should even go there and be suckered into a car with a million problems.PLEASE DON'T DO THIS, THIS WILL BE MY FIRST CAR I PERSONALLY BOUGHT ON MY OWN.

My experience with these guys was better than I expected. I went in just looking at prices first, asked about several cars and to my surprise did not get treated as a dollar sign as do most car salesmen. They were very helpful in answering all my questions, they showed me price comparisons and car type comparison. I came back the next day with my mechanic and guess what, he said they were very honest and all of the cars shown to me were in the conditions they claimed. I was not harassed by anyone, they were helpful, honest and they were willing to work with me. I left with a very nice Car and haven't had an issue. As with every car, it's the owners responsibility to maintain it. I took my mechanics advice and this dealerships, the best way to keep a car in great condition is to upkeep them with care. I'm surprised on these horrible reviews by other customers. This is an honest mom and pop shop and it's a damn shame how disgruntled customers just try to knock them down. If you want a perfect car go to a new dealership and pay full price.

I remmeber this gentleman very well. He seemed very nice and asked me questions for about 2 hours. I was accomating and informative in answering all his questions. He came in at closing time around 7pm. I sat with him until 9pm answering all his questions and letting him test drive the car. I asked him before hand at around 7pm if he was serious about buying because he had come in weeks prior and spent alot of time with questions and i was confident we had answered all of them then. He says that he would and that he wants to leave a deposit on a car after spending another 2 hours answering all his questions all over again he decides not to leave a deposit and that he again needs to think about it. I said no problem come back when you are ready, also letting him know that I want him to be comfortable and confident when he purchases the car. No hard feelings on my part this is the business. However when he comes back for a third time I absolutely ask not for a deposit, but lets talk only if he is ready and has the money to put down today. I didnt need to answer anymore questions nor did I need to know anything else except if he was ready to buy and did he have the money to put down. Thats all period. So sorry if someone pulled your card and decided not to let you waste anymore of there time and sorry if you were offened but we just cant continue to answer the same questions over and over. For you to pull the race card on this is totally without merit. We have plenty of African American customers that we love and they love us. Get your money together, put your pride aside and come down again and we will be more than glad to help you get a car even after what you said. Have a great day.

I agree there seem nice at first but there really just wolves in sheeps clothing. Just your average shady used car dealers that pry on people with bad credit. Shop else where

I first visited Preferred auto sales a few months back. I originally was looking at a 2002 BMW 330xi. I don't have good credit do this place seemed ocomadating. So at first everyone was nice including the secretary. They ran my credit and was approved for the BMW. I test drove it and by the time I got back to the dealer I smelled smile from the engine. I then looked at a few other cars one of which I was also approved for a 2003 G35. The car was overpriced and I was uncertain if I wanted to purchase it. The owner Pual basically pressured me to leave a deposit so I would be FORCED to buy a car there. He then proceeded to throw in my face that i was jeprodizing his relationships with the banks because he got me approved but didn't by the car. I come back about 2months later looking at another BMW that actually seemed decent. This time he wants a deposit before I even test drive the car or they even try to get me approved. When I returned they immediately assumed I was there too just spin there wheels but I actually had 2500 to put down on the BMW . They seem racist and I won't ever return there again! If your African American stay clear from this place.

I needed a car fast and was willing to take anything I could basically afford. I found a Audi advertised on the internet and it was the best price I saw after comparing with other dealers. I went to there website @ preferredauto1.com and got there address and went down to get it. When I got there and explained that I was buying a car for the first time and that I didnt have alot of money because I work part time and go to school. The sales person explained to me that although you really like this particular car maybe I should think about something else because this car can be very expensive to maintain. He said the car is a good car and everything is good on it but that regular upkeep on this particular model can be more expensive than others. I took his advice and purchased a Nissan. I was very happy with my purchase and later I learned from my mechanic that what these people at Preferred Auto Sales told me was absolutely the truth. I was really surprised that they were actually pushing me away from the car I came to purchase. I am very happy that I found some honest and truly helpful people in the car business.

I recently purchased a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder from Preferred Auto Sales. I found them on the internet and upon my calling in for more info I was pleasantly surprised by there willingness to help and honesty. I let the salesperson know that I was coming from a long distance so I would appreciate an honest overall opinion of the vehicle in question. I was surprised by his answer when he said hold on I will transfer you to the cordless phone and walk outside and walk around the vehicle and explain to you in detail exactly what I see panel by panel. Wow.. I felt great about that and felt that he was being sincere in his approach and his answers. When I went down the truck was in the exact shape he had discribed. The owner was also there and seemed hands on as he was also showing a vehicle which is always a good sign. I would definitly recommend purchasing a car from here. My daughter needs a vehicle next year as she will be going away to college and I will definitly go here for my next purchase.

This is OBVIOUSLY either the owner or staff from the car dealer. TALK ABOUT ETHICS and INTEGRITY..!!I've been to this dealer too and just as most, not to be trusted. I guess we just have to learn not to buy AS IS. Do your homework, these guys don't make money by selling you good stuff, they make money selling you trash that barely moves.Do your homework and never buy a car before taking it to a mechanic first.:D
