Unbelievably unprofessional! I arrive at the lot, look at a few vehicles then pull up to the front but don’t see anybody. I walk into the showroom, walk around looking for someone – one guy’s in his office BS’ing and ignores me. I decide to leave but 1 more vehicle catches my eye as I’m driving away so I go back. I walk in again… nobody looks up. Eventually I find someone to disturb a salesman Kevin Nader/Mater something. We go look at a Durango and he asked about $ so I said I was trying to find something for $30k. He said “WHOA – you’re in WAY too much vehicle. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years and I don’t want to waste your time or mine!” I said “huh - yeah I’m thinking the same thing” and got out. He rambles on a while talking down to me and bragging about how long he’s been a car salesman and ‘educating’ me on how vehicle pricing works. I tried to say I’ve worked in automotive advertising for 14 years but he interrupts me and I said “forget it” and started to walk away (no real harm done at this point). He then starts to yell at me and says “I don’t mean to be a horse’s ass, I’m just sayin”… So I turn around and tell him I don’t need an education in vehicle pricing and he’s arguing with me that $11k off MSRP is a ludicrous thought (you can’t pick up a newspaper w/out seeing 9 dealerships advertising exactly that). He argues more and I say “f*** this – I don’t have time for this sh**” and I walk away again. Now he starts screaming at me saying “turn your ass around! Why are you cussing at me? What are you some kind o tough guy? Walk your ass back here tough guy and lets see how tough you are!! (This went on for a while as I continued to walk and my only response was a finger – this dude looked ready for a coronary after 3 steps, let alone an altercation) He yells more and squeezes all 400lbs into his golf cart and chases after me – and yells some more. Then after all those threats, he gets out of his cart and tries to turn back the page and be nice again - Total psycho! He includes “I wasn’t tryin to be an a$$ hole”. I said “well you failed miserably and I don’t have time for this sh**”. I got in my truck and as I’m putting it in gear he yells “YOU”RE an a$$ hole – get out of here!” I’ve been in hundreds of dealerships, thousands of times and I’ve never seen anything like this piece of work. Drove a corvette, and was told they would fix a problem found on the test drive. Bought the car and they did not follow through with the repair. Isable and Jess both just gave me the typical run around. Found the car through the internet and did not recieve the $150 gas card as advertised. Buyer Beware Poor customer service. He listened to what we wanted and made sure finance options were available to us that’s why we choose to make this our number one dealership. Thank god its around the corner from us they know how to make a good impression on customers. When the need arose for me to take my car in for maintenance I took a shot in the dark and visited Meador in Fort Worth. Everything went as smoothly as possible. I might even say that the quality of service as well as customer service was better than back home. Thank you for putting me at ease here, it’s a great feeling! The entire staff was super friendly and I look forward to building a lasting relationship with Meador. They never kept me waiting, no one put me on hold for hours when I first called.
