My Autos of Dallas reviewTalked with Mike by phone to confirm that the Infinity G37 I was interested in was still available. He said it was and I paid a deposit to reserve it. I live 3 hours away and wanted to confirm that it was in excellent condition (even the tire tread)……he assured me it was. Make the trip down, take the car for a test drive and the dashboard warning lights are lit up like a Christmas tree and the driver’s side tires are almost bald !!! After many hours with their mechanic, they tell me several sensors, the battery and brakes are replaced. Long story short, I end up buying the car and make the 3 hour trip back home. Take the car to my mechanic to have the tires replaced (car barely made it….battery was completely dead and had never been replaced !!!) Within 2 minutes he tells me the car had been involved in an accident. Passenger side rear quarter panel has been repaired with Bondo, sanded down and repainted (paint overspray easily seen on both mufflers. Called Mike to ask why it had not been disclosed and of course, he played dumb. These are car guys…..they can spot previous damage from a mile away. NO WAY IN HELL that they did not know about this. Anyway, I asked nicely if I could return the car since the previous accident was not disclosed. He simply said “No”. These are snake oil salesmen and will lie to your face. STAY AWAY !!!!!

My Autos of Dallas reviewWith the exception of Michelle, I would not trust anyone at this dealership! I bought a 2005 Jeep Cherokee that had been wrecked. It did not show up on the history report, which they provide from AutoCheck because it’s cheaper than CarFax. If you buy from Autos of Dallas, which I would NOT recommend, ask them for a CarFax report. Also, the Jeep had transmission problems, and I had to have the transmission rebuilt. These people do not stand behind their products!

My Autos of Dallas reviewMy experience at Autos of Dallas was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! I hate those high pressure places and I will never go to one of those again! I can find everything I will ever need at Autos of Dallas. My car that I purchased a month ago from Suzanna is still awesome, I love it and I got a great deal, too! I will send a lot of referrals in the future! Thank you.

My Autos of Dallas reviewI have been re-searching cars for weeks now, and like other in here, their prices were lower. Glad I came to this site! As I was a wholesaler for 15 years oart time, I contacted some of the people that bought vehicles here, and the BBB. Then I made a call. Their all correct, these are stick it up your @#$%&^# for a buck, and I have no doubt, they would take your grandmothers last dollar and put her in the street! If you are stupid enough to buy from these people, have your car checked at a “dealership” only! Just FYI from a experienced auto buyer!

My Autos of Dallas reviewI was looking for an 08 Range Rover on cars.com and saw a banner of theirs and looked on Autosofdallas.com. I found the car i was looking so I continued comparing prices and found that their Land Rover was $2,000 cheapers than most dealerships. I continued doing reaserch and found alot of mixed reveiws about this dealership so i was iffy about purchesing a car. So i called and made an appointment with Suzana and disscused the car the next day. She was very patient with me and my wife. We test drove it and loved the car, the following day we purchased it. It has been 2 months now and Its still as beutiful as the day we got it. I “highly” recomend this dealer to anyone look to purchase a vehicle!

POS Mike
My Autos of Dallas reviewWow, I should have read up on this dealership a bit more before going in. Overall, anyone reading this prior to going to Autosofdallas, please ensure you do the following:
(1)Research the car thoroughly, take it to a shop to get reviewed prior to purchasing it. Verify the history of the car, they do sell cars that were rentals. I think we all know what happens to rental cars…
(2)Research your own warranty plan, the one they offer is a basic motor and drive train coverage, it is not a bumper-to-bumper warranty and they’ll sell it to you that it is.
(3)Know your credit score and what financing rates are available to you, don’t assume anything.
(4)Call in to verify they have the vehicle, they do not update their website very often to remove cars that are sold
So, here was my situation. I was looking at their cars online for some time and was interested in buying a Jaguar XF. I went in to test drive and buy that day, so I was a serious buyer ready to make a purchase. When I got there, a lot of the cars posted on the website were already sold. Similar to a lot of the other reviews below, the 2 cars I drove were right on “empty” as well. As for the test drive, the car drove fine; it had some minor scratches and marks, typical for a used car. The tires were worn down to the low limit, so part of the negotiations was to replace the tires, which they did (not new, just barely newer). Overall, I didn’t look close enough; there were a few things I missed: driver side visor was broken, passenger seat electronic cover was missing, and the right front blinker was not working. (more to come on that). So, unfortunately I didn’t take it anywhere to get inspected. If I did, they would have caught that the front brake pads were at the minimum as well.
So, I bought a ’10 XF and POS Mike sold me into buying the aftermarket warranty as well. We discussed it and the words out of his mouth were “it’s a bumper-to-bumper” warranty that will cover everything. I asked about rental cars and towing, and he confirmed they covered that as well. After having it for 3 days, my water pump went out while I was returned to work from my lunch break. I had to have it towed from my work’s parking lot, which was pretty embarrassing with all my colleagues seeing it out the window of their offices and brought to a dealership to have it repaired. Overall, with the replacement of the water pump and some hoses, the total repair cost was $1,800 plus an additional $300 for the tow and rental car. The QWC Warranty company only covered $400 of it. They quoted the repair times in a book, which they said was only 2 hours and would only pay $35 an hour for the service work. What garage charges only $35 an hour by the way? They would not pay for all the materials involved and did not pay for the tow service or rental car. The fine lines in the contract is that the actual repair time had to be more than 8 hours to qualify for a rental reimbursement, which was not brought up or mentioned by Mike. He sells these policies every day, so he knows all the ins and outs on what they do and don’t do.
To summarize the rest of my repairs, here is what else happened all within just a month of owning the car: The driver side mirror fell out of the housing, my right front blank fuse box had to be replaced, I had to get the front brakes down, the solenoid in my fuel release department burnt out (I had to rip open the fuel lid to put gas in the car prior to running out) and my tire press sensors are acting up. Overall, total repair costs to date including rentals and towing is little over $3,500 and the warranty company only covered $400. I put in my request to cancel the policy and bought a true bumper-to-bumper warranty this weekend from AutoBahn to protect me from what appears to be a problematic car that is bleeding me money from the head.
Overall, it was a very stressful and disappointing experience. This by far has been the worst purchasing and customer service experience I have ever had. I also filed a BBB complain and highly recommend everyone who has had a bad experience with this outfit to file complaints and post your reviews. I certainly wished I would have reviewed BBB and this blog prior to going into their front door.
Just to clarify for the sensitive viewers reading this, my use of POS is in regards to Point Of Sale and not derogatory toward anyone specific. I’m not the name calling type and don’t take what happened to me personal. I was actually treated fairly well when I was there (hence the high ranking). My issues are with the warranty coverage, quality of the vehicle, and post-sale customer service. For me, this review is non-emotional and just business and I hope to educate those that are seeing to buy a car from Autosofdallas to do your homework and be start consumers.
Yes I learned a valuable lesson also.

My Autos of Dallas reviewWe purchased a 2007 Saab convertible (40,000 miles) from the criminal dealership. It should have been a red flag when there was no gas in the car to take a reasonable test drive. I understand that gas prices are high but when the fuel light was on in the 3 vehicles we test drove and when we mentioned to them that we were uncomfortable taking the car out very far our sales rep Michelle played the bimbo with a lame excuse she is not a bimbo but a cunning unethical person. I admit that we had put our guard down because a good friend had played the Russian roulette game with these sharks and had dodged the bullet on his previous purchases. Well unfortunately for us the car performed well enough for us to decide to purchase the vehicle. My wife did the initial negotiations which she doesn’t like to do in the first place and so I called up the following Monday because we were using out CREDIT UNION for the financing which we had paid off 3 vehicles with and always received excellent terms. I spoke with the POS MIKE about the price and he acted like he had never negotiated his way out of a paper bag. I understand that they are in the business to make a profit and I have no problem with that because they would be out of business if not. I have negotiated several vehicles in my life and I take pride in getting a good but fair deal, I do not need to feel like I reamed them to achieve satisfaction and I do tons of research trying to be informed about things. We finally came to an agreement because and I quote “I just want to get off the phone with you” Which as it seems everyone has found out voids out any warranty. Fortunately we decided to purchase the third party warranty since Saab is out of business and the electronics involved with this model. After driving the car for TWO (2) days the transmission began acting up. I called POS MIKE about this and he told me that I was SOL stating “you bought the warranty call them” I felt this was an unsatisfactory response and told POS I thought so and he told me to “go back to the ghetto that I live in (Little Elm) and that I need to have another beer (that sounded good but it was 10:00 am and I had worked the graveyard shift) and that I couldn’t qualify for credit to buy a head of lettuce! (we did not need his financing nor did he pull my report and we are CREDIT UNION members as I mentioned with a stellar payment history. So now the car sits in the transmission shop waiting for an approval by the warranty to pull the transmission after diagnostics show it is slipping and needs rebuilt. I also will have the transmission shop be on the lookout for illegal and/or unethical items that may come across such as sawdust etc. I will be filing a lawsuit against POS if we come across anything that even smells like him! Anyone else come across this please let me know! I want to get the word out as much as possible to this walk the legal line maybe dealer.
20 complaints to the BBB with an “F” rating no doubt because they are scared to apply to be a member.
http://www.bbb.org/dallas/business-reviews/auto-dealers-used-cars/autos-of-dallas-in-addison-tx-90121772
I seriously hate to see this. I bought a car from them in August of last year. Had the car for a week and the motor shot. It sat in the shop for 7 months, because they voided my warranty even after paying full price for the car and I had to pay out of pocket to get a brand new motor in it. POS MIKE, was by far the most horrid person I have EVER dealt with in my entire life. The worst customer service of all time. He basically told me that I was SOL as well. However, they sold me a lemon and they know they did. I got an oil sample analyzed, because when I took my car into the shop they drained the oil filter and found metal shavings in it. Turns out there was titanium in my oil, so what they did was put the wrong oil in it to temporarily cover existing issues to get the car sold. And I unfortunately fell for it. This was my first time to ever buy a car on my own, and it was the worst experience. I tried to take legal action, but unfortunately I would have had to have the entire history of everything that’s been done with the car, and they won’t provide it for me. I also reported them to BBB and no response.
Karlie, I’m sorry you had to experience that especially on your irate purchase. I’m not sure if we will ever get satisfaction as I saw that they had 10 complaints to bbb and responded to none. I do find it funny that several of the good reviews are their own employees . POS as he will always be known as treats all people with no respect once they have taken possession of the vehicle and I hope karma bites him on the face keep watching this isn’t my first rodeo dealing with scum like that!
yes i had the same problem drove my bmw 2000miles tranny poblem… Lemon dealership..

My Autos of Dallas reviewMy husband and I purchased a 2005 BMW 645ci for $26,900 we also purchased an extended warranty $2,475 we put down $10,000. I was elated about our new purchase however 2 days later several senors started to appear on the dash board. We took the car to BMW of Plano where it cost us $623.21 for the convertible senors to be replaced. Then a couple of weeks later the car started to shut off while idle. We took the car back to BMW the cost to repair the car this time was $2,939.10 the list of repairs range from, Battery Cables, Replacing parts of the head gasket, Hoses and Clamps, Oil Pan/ Pump, Suspension System. Not to mention BMW took my husband and I out to our “NEW” vehicle which was in there bay to show where parts were missing, and where they “Autos of Dallas” Silicone the oil pan cover to the car to prevent any leaks. All of this is prior to us paying our first car payment. I then called Mike to make him aware of the problems and to also let him know that none of the repairs were covered under the warranty we purchased. I asked If we could return the car he basically said it was our problem. I called and left several messages that went unanswered. I reported them to the BBB, Autos of Dallas never responded to the BBB compliant.
Two months later the check engine light came on again. The repairs this time was $4,781.50 however the warranty company covered $2,000 of the repairs for the sway bar. We have replaced every rim and tire on the car. We just traded the car in we had $1,000 of positive equity. In 9 months we put over $20,000 into the car (including our down payment).
Please, Please, Please do not buy a car from Autos of Dallas the prices are cheap but it’s like that old cliche “You get what you pay for”.

My Autos of Dallas reviewThis dealership is a total rip off! They will lie to you over and Over and they won’t stand by their vehicles! I bought my Porsche and it broke down 2 days after I bought it. I wish I would have had it inspected before I bought it because if I would have known about this place I wouldnt have bought this vehicle. I would never sell a vehicle that wasn’t reliable to a soldier who was about to deploy with a wife, child and one on the way. They are crooks that should be shut down!

My Autos of Dallas reviewI thought it was strange how low the prices were and then when I saw the quality of the product I understood why. The sales woman was VERY rude and had a hot temper! Car was not detailed and things were clearly broken. The “as is” should be taken seriously. I’ve purchased 8 cars in my life but have never seen a car for sale look as horrible as this one did. I’ve also never purchased from a dealership where they try to sell you something with a broken CD player. Buyer beware! My over all opinion, I felt like it was a VERY shady place. Oh and the lack of a warranty speaks volumes as well. If you read the fine print there is none unless you pay asking price.

My Autos of Dallas reviewI bought a 2006 Lexus from these people, and the transmission went out 2 months down the road…I paid a $250 less than the asking price and was cheated out of my warranty! The car had a 90 day warranty on it…I paid over $21,000.00 cash, for my car and when i called and told them what had happened, I was told that it was not their problem!!! I was rushed in and out of there! THIS PLACE IS VERY DISHONEST and all the good reviews are coming from the owner and the people that work there!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
The other thing is that I was told that there was no disk needed for my navigation, off course, they LIED AGAIN!!! Be careful, the prices arent to bad, But my transmission cost me $5000.00, so my car cost much more than if I had of bought it from a Lexus Dealership…
This is EXACTLY what happened to me with the Audi I bought in August from Mike. That dude is a snake. They cheated me out of my warranty because I paid $400 less than asking price, yet a week later when my motor shot I had still paid full asking price of the car. They told me they don’t work with hypothetical, only reality and until I figured out what was wrong it wasn’t their problem. Come to find out they put bad oil in the car to cover up the issues!! Total nightmare!
This will be Quick and to the point. be very very very careful purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. I didn’t buy but my fly and drive turned into a fly and fly thanks to a local garage that did a Pre purchase inspection.
What happened later when I returned the car was unbelievable to say the least.
I may look into a complaint with the BBB.
When the repaired the transmission did they see anything not normally in there such as sawdust or additives to mask a transmission problem?

My Autos of Dallas reviewI’ve written one review and decided a month later to update my thoughts on their HORRIBLE BUSINESS BEHAVIOR! I discussed how I was understanding that my purchase was a used vehicle but also some maintenance issues were supposed to be fixed in my overall deal…well since I have taken my vehicle to the Toyota dealership to find out that the job was botched! Lies on top of even worse expenses than I would have started with is all I got! Do NOT let their “mechanic down the road” touch your car if you do decide to buy a vehicle from these people. Oh and do NOT trade a car that you owe money to a financial institute…after over a month of phone calls and finally a threat of court my traded in car is FINALLY paid off. I still like my vehicle just wished the integrity of the dealership was not so crappy!

My Autos of Dallas reviewi bought my vehicle two weeks ago…I have not been overly satisfied with my purchase but you have to remember you are buying a USED vehicle from someone who buys from AUCTION and is a WHOLESALER! Which I had to tell myself after a slight moment of buyers remorse when I read some reviews on here the night I bought my car. Don’t expect to get a brand new car that doesn’t need maintenance by any means. These guys have no personal attachment to the past maintenance of these vehicles. I explained some concerns with my vehicle before purchase and Michelle made sure they were taken care of before we bought it. When I took my vehicle in to get inspected there were a couple of things that needed to be fixed before it could be inspected. One of which Mike said if he would have known he would have fixed with the other issue had he known…the other concerned me. I was missing one lug completely but six of my nuts and bolts needed to be replaced (dealership says they cannot believe the tire didn’t come off). My husband contacted Mike and he agreed to look at the expenses if we faxed the bill from the dealership…as we did. Today we got a check for half of the cost. We will have to get some other things done to the vehicle but hopefully the extended warranty will cover some of it. I would recommend to someone but also advise to realize what you are getting as far as used. I didn’t rate the financing because I didn’t use it but I had to put one star at least.

My Autos of Dallas reviewAfter making her first car payment my daughter has had here car towed away with a blown motor. We as a family are going to do what we can to not let this happen to anyone else. I only hope this info is helpful for anyone even thinking of purchasing a car from here. They have not returned repeated phone calls and have done nothing to stand by what they have told her. Do not buy a car from here as they practice to deceive
Please let me know what actions you are taking if any. I also was ripped off by Autos of Dallas.
I will let you know if I find out anything on my transmission replacement
Sorry to hear that Laura, I had a very problematic car myself. They don’t inspect their cars to identify any worn compontents or major wear. Everything is pushed out the door…
