Did you know that we are a green dealer? Helping our environment is a job we do not take lightly. From using all our used oil from your oil changes, that is stored in a holding tank and then used to help heat the dealership in the cold months to being an active participant in all recycled products in the office and other shop supplies. We are working to help our environment on a daily basis.

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewMy experience at Bill Dube was HORRIBLE. First, I made an appointment to test drive an Elantra and when I showed up they told me they’d sold it. Didn’t bother to call and tell me to save me the trip. I test drove another Elantra only to find out it doesn’t come with a spare tire, it comes with fix-a-flat, so I said no thanks. I checked out their site to see if there was anything else I’d be interesed in and ended up emailing them about a Tucson. I told them I only wanted to come in to test drive it if they thought they could work in my price range. They said "that seems reasonable" so I came in, test drove it and liked it. After almost 2 hours of going back and forth they came withing $27 of where I wanted to be in a monthly payment and let me walk out the door without the car. They called AND emailed later that day to say they could make it work at the amount I wanted to spend and I replied that if they could, and it would not be more than where I wanted to be with everything included, then I’d take it. They agreed. I went in that day and signed over the title to my car and to sign the purchase and sale. Came in the next day to sign the rest of the paperwork and pick up the car and they sat down and told me it would not only be $60 more a month than what they had agreed to on email but that quote was $10 more than what they’d originally quoted me off the bat! I didn’t have the energy left to put up a fight about the fact that they’d lied to me and brought me there under false pretenses. The business manager didn’t even have the guts to come back and tell me they’d made a mistake; he left the office and sent in the sales guy, who simply said "I thought the numbers would work." A little advice – do the math before you agree to a deal! I’m a Contracts Manager and this is simply unheard of. I will not be going back there nor recommending it to anyone I know. Worst car dealership experience EVER!!

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewI have not bought a car in over ten years and buying a car from Dube Hyundai was a great experince. My sales person Hazeem really sold me on the car. He knew his stuff about the vechicle and made every process of purchasing the car simple. I have had the car for about a month and totally love it, Thanks.

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewI bought a 2008 new Elantra from this dealership at the beginning of 2009. I was pressured to purchase the platinum package which is a huge ripoff. They promise free tires for the life of the car but you need to read the fine print where it says this is only valid if you have ALL your required maintinance done there. My sales rep Said was as slick as a car salesman can get. These people are the most unethical dealership I have ever dealth with. They made me feel that the deal was contingent on me getting the platinum package. I have since traded my car and got a new Hyundai from a reputable dealer. Stay clear of this dealership.

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewI have stated on other review sites for this dealership, what I have gone through from April ’10 to October ’10. I found out that in October, the transmission was “slipping”. I bought a used 2002 Dodge Neon from this dealer, and wish I had not even walked through the doors. I was told that the Neon could be serviced at the dealership, but when I had major problems with it, they backed out. I had to bring my car to a Dodge dealership for the major problems I had with it. I wrote to Bill Dube Hyundai, and called, numerous times and was brushed off every time. I talked to the sales manager and the service manager, and never got a real response for any of my problems that I was having with the car. Not to mention, when I first got the car it was not prepped AT ALL. When the battery died a few weeks later, it could not even be jumped because the battery was so corroded. I had to go to the dealership, ask for a new battery, and then install the battery myself. I also found out that I needed to buy a new air filter. I believe I can truthfully say that after I bought this terrible car, they washed their hands of me right when I took it off the lot. My family had previously bought two new cars from them and were planning to buy a new one from them next year. After this ordeal over the past 7 months, my parents have decided to bring their business elsewhere.

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewBrought my car in for service during the evening drop off. This was my second visit to this dealership for this issue. The next day they called that it was ready, and had been repaired under waranty. When I arrived to pick up the car, it wouldn’t start. When it finally started, I went back into the dealership, and asked why the car wasn’t repaired properly. The attendant told me to call back tomorrow when the service manager was there. When I was walking through the sales department, I ran into two customers, and told them to never purchase a car at this dealership, whereas they do not act professionally, nor honor their commitment to service. As I was getting back into my car, an Arabic man ran after me screaming that if I ever came back to this dealership, he would kill me. My wife was present, and came to my aid having to get in between this man and myself. I later found his name to be Said, and he is the sales manager there. Repeated calls to the owner of this dealership Scott Dube, have gone unanswered.
I have pressed charges against Said, and the dealership. I cannot beleive they would hire insane people like this man to work at their business.

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewBill Dube is a very unethical dealership to buy a vehicle from. I felt very pressured to purchase the premium membership package from them. After I purchased the premium membership, they refused to give me some of my money back after I told them that I was moving. The people there don’t know what they are doing, and they are full of lies.
Stay as far away from Bill Dube as you possibly can!!!
Response from the owner
I’m sorry you feel this way and I am further disappointed you will be leaving the area. The problem is that the Platinum program is priced as a non refundable package. I apologize that you felt we were rude to you that is never acceptable. That said I want you to understand that you get all of the benefits you originally purchased. The only thing you’re missing out on is the oil changes for 9.95 and the tires for life. You got the teflon paint protection which is worth at least $499 and the interior fabric protection which is worth at least $399 and is warrantied regardless of your location. Additionally you have the Tire and Wheel coverage which is also valued at a minimum of $399 and again is not based on your location. I’m happy to have you call me directly at my direct line 978-384-0418. I would love the opportunity to discuss your concerns one on one, and to apologize personally. Respectfully,
Scott Dube

My Bill Dube Hyundai reviewBill Dube Hyundai markets used cars as well as new. We visited them to look at a used Toyota Corolla. The internet ad said “We just put a new clutch so no worries for you!”. After test driving the car, we were concerned about the shifting. I specifically asked both the sales person and finance manager if the clutch had been replaced and they answered that as management said so in the ad they had to believe it.
I brought the car to be checked out by my mechanic who said that the clutch was slipping. I called the sales rep from my mechanic’s parking lot and related this info.
The rep said that they would make it good – to bring it up and they would have the dealership mechanic inspect and adjust it. I went up and waited for hours for the mechanic to get to it. I heard that they took it for a test drive and it was ok. I asked to speak to the mechanic and met with the dealership’s expert in manual transmissions. He had not done the test drive (it was done by a non-mechanic), nor had he been the servicer who replaced the clutch, but had made an adjustment to the clutch some time back so he knew the car. We drove around the lot and he said he thought the clutch was ok. I called my mechanic back home to ask how to tell if the clutch is slipping. He said to take it up to 55 miles an hour in 5th gear and step on it. If the engine revs without a corresponding increase in speed, then the clutch is slipping. But there was no where to do that test at the dealer’s location, so I relied on the dealership mechanic’s evaluation.
We concluded the deal and on the way home I tested the clutch and it was definitely slipping. I stopped by my local auto shop and had one of his mechanics look at it again. He looked under the car at the bolts and reported that there were no signs that the bolts had been removed in years and it looked like no work was done.
I called the dealership and asked to speak to the manager, and was routed to voicemail. I called back and left additional messages asking them to produce some proof that the clutch had been replaced. The manager called me back and explained that sometimes there can be human error and the clutch was in fact never replaced. The cost of putting one in was prohibitive, so he offered to refund the full purchase price and take the car back, which he did within a couple business days.
In general, the folks at this dealership were friendly, and tried to be helpful. It took much investigative effort to debunk the myth of a new clutch. I don’t believe that the sales rep knew that the clutch had not been replaced and was just doing his job, but advertising a new clutch that was never installed is a problem that buyers should not have to deal with and straight, factual information should be easier to come by. I would use caution in doing business with this car dealer and verify any claims they make.
