The most incompetant people I have ever dealt with. Do not tell the truth, overcharge, add in things that they do not tell you about. Piece meal stuff they need, no competancy at all
continue to call and ask for things one at a time which means they do not know their job or they would know everything they need to begin with. lie and tell you things are complete and then you find out that isn't true. I WOULD NE VER BUY OR RECOMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE

The Salesperson was fine, it's financing you must be aware of. His name is Joe! They promised me one thing, had me sign a contract that they said was just to let me take the car off the lot. I asked 3 different people if I could have my 5,000 cash back if they could not deliver what they promised. Guess what...they didn't and would not give me my money back as a matter of fact Joe blackmailed me. He said that if I didn't exept the new offer in front of me that he would make the old contract stick! "Then he went on to say...."and trust me I can do it"!
Maybe everyone else in there is fine, BUT DON'T LET JOE DO YOUR FINANCING!!!!!!!!!!!!! :devil (

I like the Genesis V-8 and went to United Hyundai with the intention of purchasing one. To my chagrin, they wanted $6,000 over MSRP!!!!
Their advertisement led you to believe they were having a "Liquidation Sale".
In this economy, with other dealerships going out of business, they were not satisfied with a fair profit (MSRP plus whatever Holdbacks and other factory incentives they receive). I understand that at this time, demand may exceed supply, but their practice of gouging potential customers because of this temporary situation reflects a very short sighted plan. I believe in the long run, this outrage will come back and bite them because this experience has left me with a bitter distaste which will keep me as well as other prospective buyers who have experienced this from ever darkening their door again. One word comes to mind when thinking of United Hyundai is G_R_E_E_D!!!!!!!

On May 2nd I went into the dealership to ask about the 6885.00 pricing fro the accent. They told me that you had at least 15 qualifiactions to ge that price some of which contradicated each other. But after talking to James and then their closer Joe I agreed to terms verbally and signed off on it. I found a week and half later that the bank would not allow the deal. I went back to the dealer only after being threatened with Repo which they are not authorized to do. They also threatened this when I did not call back after they left me one message. I was at work and unable to call back fast enough for them. Once back at the dealer i loudly complained about the treatment and was yelled at by james patterson. At that point Scott Campbell and Tim(Slick) took over. I just wanted to turn my car back in but they refused that. Instead I was told that I would have to pay for mileage and daily rental fee in order to get my trade in back. I did not have that money and would have had to walk home. I signed for the new deal after being promised in verbal terms what they would do. When I refused to have gap and the extended warranty added they changedtheprice of the car so my payment would not change. The next day i was called back to the dealer becasue they realized that they had me sign a fraudlent contract that could have gotten them into trouble. The new contract had the correct payment but do not take into account the other promises that they made to me. When i asked about that they said that I would get the check they promised me to pay off my trade in, registration and to lower the payment for 12 months when I came back to pick up my green slip for the registration. Instead no chaeck was there. In trying to explain what happened they tapped dance around the truth. The told me that I was lying and that they were not going to do anything. I have since contacted the bank to tell them that they need to come and get the car as a voluntary repo. Without the money the promised i am unable to keep the car. i have also filed complaints with the BBB and with Hyundai motors. Hyundai has tried to intervene but as they tell me they are unable to do anything when it comes to their dealers.
So if you decide to go to this dealer beware as they are only concerned with makeing a sale and not keeping a customer. Besides they already have 2 dealerships that are being forcible closed.

I don’t normally take sales calls from dealerships, but for some reason answered this one. To my surprise they invited me to the store for their “customer appreciation day”. I was skeptical but decided to stop by to see what it was all about. They we giving away free oil changes and barbequing food. They fed my whole family and serviced my car, all for free with no strings attached. The general manager was behind the grill and most of the sales staff was there and thanked me for my business. Not once did they try to talk to me about trading in or purchasing another vehicle. It was nice to see they were genuinely interested in showing my family appreciation for our business during the holidays, especially when times are already tough for everyone. Thank you United Hyundai, you will definitely see me in the future.

They gave me a better deal (and car) than I was going to get from Henderson Hyundai. They called to make sure everything was in order with my new car and took care of my co-worker who had been taking the bus cause she didn't think she could afford a car payment. I have had my car for about a year and a half and i haven't experienced any problems with my elantra at all. I was upfront with my concerns and they were addressed immediately and honestly.

I recently purchased a new Elantra at United Hyundai. My credit is not the best but I thought it was okay. I read some other reviews on United as I was considering giving feedback myself. It was some of those reviews that pushed me to figure this stuff out. I am not very computer literate. I was really pissed at first when my payment ended up higher than agreed but once they showed me everything that they had to do just to get me approved, I felt differently. I never realized what was envolved and how difficult it can sometimes be to get financing. I even went to my own credit union, e-loan, roadloans and they all turned me down. I had to swallow my pride and discharge my stereo type attitude toward the dealership. All I can say is that I was scared to loose the car. I had no other way to and from work to support my family. Although it was aggrivating and stressfull, they got me financed when no one else could. For that I am thankfull.
