RE: WORK ORDER # 113548
1- INSTALL REAR DVD SYSTEM
a. Does not look like the MB website system, screws are showing on side of brackets – no covers??
b. 2nd row seats side mechanism covers are loose, rattle and dirty. Dark greasy finger prints are on the seat leather.
c. Dirty shoe tracks on recently shampooed carpet.
d. Wireless headsets were found in side pocket of rear door and front seat, not a good representation after spending money.
e. Service department announces availability till 8 pm but nobody was from service at 6:30 pm to assist with operation of new system.
f. They quoted 5 hours to install system while it clearly states 2.5 hours on the MB parts sheet, but when picking up the car they still charged 5 hours???? It was initially quoted 3 hours by Kevin when he was contacted by the dealer who sold us the car and I was the one to take notes while listning to Kevin on speaker system.
2- Floor mats;
a. Service advisor took my wife to select floor mats and she choose the carpeted style, but when picking up the car, they were rubber thrown in the back in the original boxes???
b. Service advisor said he was going to charge $150.00 for mats when he contacted me thursday, but the invoice was for $220.00???
3- Third row seat does not lock. The service department when they called me after three days they said car was done, but it was not?? No work was done on this?? 3rd row seat was dirty as well. I am really confused to what the service advisor means by "done"?????"
Considering the poor service we received for the above three items, I did not bother to inspect the recalls if they were done or not because I know they were poorly done as well.
****Is it possible to have another dealer check if the recalls on the work order were really performed??
Can somebody assist the service department and explain to them that they are a Mercedes Benz dealer and they should live up to the expectations of Mercedes customers.

I got the car I wanted with the options and color I was looking for, and even better, was the price I drove the car out with. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a new Benz. The dealership is spacious and just beautiful too.
