At first, I was very impressed with their service department. However, since that time I have discovered that they have lied to me at least twice about "necessary" repairs to my car. The most recent was last week when I was told that a certain part needed to be replaced that my car DOES NOT EVEN HAVE. I filed a complaint with the Volvo Corporation and they confirmed that my car does not have the part that the service department told me needed to be replaced. Prior to this incident I was told that a sway bar was COMPLETELY broken and could affect the stability of my car. While out of town, I got this looked at and was shown the actual sway bar which was NOT broken at all. I will never go back and warn everyone to stay away from this place.
We were very disappointed in the way we were treated and the way our time was not valued. We received the age-old dealer treatment that we had hoped was a thing of the past. The salesman had to go see the manager for everything, and wasn't able to make the smallest decision himself. They offered LESS than Kelly Blue Books Trade-in Value for our Mint Condition trade-in. In the end, we decided to keep the old car and sell it ourselves. Even then, they weren't willing to come down on the price of the new vehicle even $300. We wasted almost an entire day with this dealership and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I purchased my new Accord through the Internet after submitting in a request. They contacted me almost imediately and gave me a price right up front. After I shopped Trickett, Redell and Crest Honda I found the price to be competive but not the lowest.
After going to one dealership I found out they didn't include a Interior/Exterior protection package of $399 in the price plus they added mud flaps and pin stripes for an additional price of $649. They would not honor the price quote they emailed to me.
The next Honda dealer told me the price didn't include freight and their doc fee of $499 wasn't disclosed either. I then checked out a Honda dealer in Cookville that offers a lifetime warranty. They did the traditional bait & switch after I drove over 1 hour to get to them. They did everything to get me to drive their Accord home right now again not disclosing their $499 processing fee until I went to the business office. The payment I was quoted for the car were not the same as the finance manager showed me. The additional $33.51 per month didn't sit well with me so I left.
That was the best move I ever did.
I called Darrell Waltrip Internet Department and asked them if they would honor their price quote they gave me 2 weeks earlier. They told me no! The price went down $500 because Honda gave them an incentive on the V6 sedans. I drove there and they did honor their new price with out any suprises or games. The whole delivery took 1 hour and 15 minutes. P.S. the payment was $41 less than Cookevilles payment.
I am very pleased to refer everyone to Darrell Waltrip for their straight forward approach to do business with me.
After shopping for the best deal I soon realized the lowest price isn't always the Best Deal.
