I've had my C230 for 3 years and take it to the dealership for all scheduled maintenance. RBM has always been very prompt, professional and courteous for all service appts.
HOWEVER, I have had mis-diagnosed service issues on two occasions and fortunately had sense enough to get a second opinion to resolve the problems. Problem number 1: Marker light left and right malfunction warning light on console display but the marker lights are not out. Brought car to RBM twice. They had no clue. Suggested to run a complete electronic diagnostic test. I declined and took the car to MB Buckhead. In about a minute, MB Buckhead figured out that the problem was simply a wrong light bulb.
Second issue: AC not cold. After a recharge, I was told that I needed a new evaporator for $3800. I declined and took my car to an independent shop who conducted another thorough UV die-leak test of the AC. No leaks were found.
