My Morries - Mazda reviewWent to Morries for 15000 mile service on 2012 Mazda. They told me it was going to cost around 160 dollars and if I did not do it this would end the buy happy oil changes. After I explained the items they wanted to perform were not even required to be completed according to the owners manual they started using pressure tactics to convince me to allow them to do it. They also do not use the mazda recommended 0w-20 motor oil because the profit margins would be lower due to it costing more then the conventional oil they use. The free oil changes they say you get with the buy happy program actually cost 40 plus dollars and with the right 0w-20 oil its 70 plus dollars. Buy happy is just another program the dealer uses to generate more income while making the customer feel they are getting something of value. Don’t be fooled by them and ask questions about the buy happy program. Oh and they even charge you up front to enrolled in buy happy which you will find onyour purchase aggrement on a new car.

My Morries - Mazda reviewI had a very different experience with Morrie’s than what people have reported here. I was offered some deals in January 2012 that didn’t fit my budget or my preferences. Montrell called me back in March to let me know that there were more incentives for the car that I was interested in. The financing went well. I was quoted an accurate price and the monthly payments were well within my request.
Service wise, they have always acommadated my service times. Never waited more than an hour for my service. They quoted my estimates upfront and were always right on.
The Buy Happy program has paid off for me well. I have been able to get the oil changes for free. I was told that if I got the regular maintanence done, these would continue to be free after the 1st three. They were very clear on the terms and conditions of this program. They have always maintained my records for the lease company which is nice for me. Just less paper I have laying around my house.

My Morries - Mazda reviewMike is sales manager referred to me from a sales rep Montrell. Mike is not honest on the price (asking price as posted on the website and price mentioned to me over the phone). He delivered rude communication over our price negotiation. He treated me like I am a beggar for the 2008 BMW 328Xi Wagon.
I don’t take him a a representative for the dealer or in the name of Morrie. There must be other good and caring for representatives within the corporation.

My Morries - Mazda reviewThey continue to disappoint us …….. we bought 2 cars from them a year ago, bought the buy happy program, service after the sale is AWFUL. They are so rude to my son, he took his car in for his oil change and they told him this was his last free one b/c he’s not bringing his car in for regular check-ups. Well he is in college out of state so is only home during the summers.
My son keeps his car immaculate, Morrie’s spilled washer fluid over the entire engine, ran it through the car wash without drying ….. THEY DON’T TAKE ANY PRIDE IN THEIR WORK whatsoever. Total crap job!
DO NOT GO HERE!

My Morries - Mazda reviewwent in to try and scale back on car and payments.. we brought our 05 subaru wrx with 55000 miles on it to trade down to an 01 passat wagon 4motion with 110,000. we owe 9,000 on the wrx which they initially offered us 11,000 for. the passat blue books for just under 5,000 but they were selling for reduced price of 7,520, thats fine i understand the business.. so we were basically giving them a sick car, almost 2000 dollars from trade, and 1000 cash. we never even dickered on the price either, offered full. they drug us along for a day and then took a thousand dollar deposit the second only to let us know, after WE called THEM, that they weren’t going to sell us the car unless we paid cash.. i’m pissed, they just bullshit us until they got a little cash and then got greedy. needless to say ‘deal off’. shmucks.

My Morries - Mazda reviewMorries mazda was by far the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. When I walked in the door the sales man did not stop pushing to buy now now now. I did find a good deal on a vehicle and ended up buying it. They told me that there was a warranty for the first 30 days and if anything were to go wrong they would fix it. I started to have issues with the vehicle and said them to fix the issues. They acted like they did not know who I was and push me under the rug. After calling and calling I finally got a hold of someone who would fix the issue ( it was like pulling teeth to get something done with them). The vehicle was in the shop the first month more than i was driving it. I traded in a perfect car with no problems and got a car that was junk and none of the problems were disclosed for me to know about before I bought it. James the sales manager is a snake in the grass and will do anything to make a sale. James did not live up to the motto “buy happy”. I think this ass should be fired right away because he is one of the main reason I am writing this review. When I asked for a rental to drive while my car was in the shop, they gave me a PT Cruiser with the fuel light on and a flat tire that I had to fill up 3 times a day. The customer service is sub-par and I would never recommend Morrie’s to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!
My husband and I just purchased a vehicle from morries on thursday. (its friday night)We have put on about 100 miles on it. It is now sitting in our driveway broke down with a bad starter!! I will be contacting them asap when they open and see what happens. Hopefully this issue can be resolved fairly quickly with not alot of hassle. Its a gorgeous vehicle and ihope this not a sign of what to come.

My Morries - Mazda reviewThis is the worst experiance I have ever had. The clutch in the vehicle that I purchased went out at exactly 1000 miles. I called them about it and they keep telling me that they will call me back. Its been three weeks now and four phone calls from me and still no reponse.
Then I get my title in the mail and there is a letter with the title that saysI cannot drive the vehicle because I did not register it with plates, which I paid for at the dealership when I bought the truck. So I called them and waited a week with no response before I had to call back and ask why I didnt get plates. The lady at Morries that handles the titling never did call me back I had to call again and talk to a manager named Mike who finaly got it taken care of.
Its been three weeks now and my clutch is out of my truck, no one returns my calls in regards to the transmission, and I still cant drive my truck becasue I have no plates for it.
I belive the slogan is buy happy that the biggest bunch of BS I have ever heard.

My Morries - Mazda reviewThese guys are not the brightest bulbs on the tree. I took my car in for a regular maintenance and asked them to check my light socket because it wasn’t working. I thought maybe it was a fuser. Do you know what the guy told me? He said it wasn’t a fuser it was broken and would cost $114 and it just happens from time to time. Do you know what it was? It was my cord to my GPS that was broken not the lighter. I have had many issues with this dealership. Idiots I say. Should not be working there. They have no idea what they are doing.

My Morries - Mazda reviewWalked in, was talked to, negotiated on warranty (even though they claim no negotiating), then they ran me in circles to confuse me and brought back the papers not reflecting the warranty agreement. It was confusing, frustrating, and they tell you that with the ‘Buy happy’, its free oil change for life…but they don’t mention they charge you $40 every time for other checks, like ‘safety belts need to be checked.’ Get everything in writing and circle the agreed prices and don’t let them push you over through confusing you.

Jesse Howard
My Morries - Mazda reviewI was pretty much already decided on the car I was going to buy, a 2010 Mazda 3, GS. The only issue was the price. I had a quote from another dealer, and it was far less than Morries (1,000 less). Through negotiations (they claim the don’t/can’t negotiate), they gave me a “coupon” for $250 for people who had bought there before, even after I made it clear that I did not fit any criteria for the coupon. They also raised the offer on my trade-in. After all this, they were still pretty high, but the manager came over and agreed to give me an additional $75 off the price (I know, not much, but better than nothing, especially since I really wanted thte car). They had to ship the car from Chicago, which took a few days, no problem there, but when the car came, and we went to close, the closing documents did not reflect the price we argreed on, it was $325 higher, and Jesse claimed he didn’t remember talking about price. I am sure he is a busy guy, but we had an agreement, and he didn’t live up to his end. He eventually came up with the $250, but screwed me of the $75. Again, very small dollars in context, but I now know the price of Jesse Howard’s integrity.

My Morries - Mazda reviewWe bought our car in February this year. It was a used car and had FOUR DIFFERENT tires on it. After several trips and phone calls, they were eventually replaced with used tires from another car that they were sending to auction (thus passing on the issue to someone else).
Five months later, we wanted to replace the tires with our BUY HAPPY program. We were told that we ALREADY used our Buy Happy tires back in February. I argued that point with the GM, they agreed to replace the tires.
They were finally replaced today after wating another TWO WEEKS. The appointment took twice as long as they said it would and the tires we recieved ….. BUDGET TIRES – Nexens.
There is NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE with this company.
Bought UNHAPPY.

My Morries - Mazda reviewThis is not the first time I have had service completed, however after this time I’m pretty much done with this dealership. I will never recommend any one to look at a car here nor will I ever have any one get repair service. This is the worst dealership in the metro area. I have had an Engine replaced and not even 2 weeks later the car started to leak transmission fluid. The Service MGR Jason stated to me that this must be some thing that happened after this was completed and must not have been from putting in the new engine. Then I advised him I have only had it less than 2 weeks and then this happens. They also stated that since I have to get repairs I must get another rental car. I have had over $3,000 worth of work completed. And the treatment is you need to rent another car. Yea because they are not making enough money off me they need to make more. The service alone is much worth paying more for a car some where else just so you don’t have to deal with this place. now that I have to wait for my car I also asked why should I have to pay for a rental car as if this is some thing that happened from putting the new engine in its not my fault this happened. And nor should I have to pay. If it was done right the first time, I’d be driving my car. There would not be a need for me to have service done to this vehicle again. Jason also stated to me that when I’m making demands that I won’t get far. Excuse me? um I’m paying money to have service completed “done right” so they say, and I’m getting my car serviced every 2 weeks it seems. Due to some thing that is wrong with the car after it was in the shop for over a month. So yes some one explain to me how can Morries Mazda treat their customers “ME” like this and expect me to sit back and let them rake me for all the money I’m spending on my car for “repairs” that Morries should have correctly fixed the first time.
THIS PERSON DOES NOT MENTION IT WAS COVERED BY AN EXYENDED WARRANTY. AFTER MUCH WORK BY THE DEALER TO GET THIS COVERED, IN WHICH CUSTOMER COULD NOT SUPPLY ANY OIL CHANGE RECEIPTS AND MAINTANCE RECORDS, THE DEALERSHIPS FOUGHT TO GET THE ENGINE REPLACEMENT COVERED. FOR THE RENTAL CUSTOMER KNEW HE WAS GETTING INTO A RENTAL CAR. (RENTAL CAR) MOST PEOPLE KNOW THERE IS A CHARGE FOR A RENTAL CAR.

My Morries - Mazda reviewI just have to say one thing ” Do not buy from this delearship because they suck” I bougth a 04 mazda rx8 on 2005 and after 9 months the car simply wont start so i took it back and they charged me $500 and told me they fixed it, i was driving back to my house and the engine broke down just 30 min after they told me it was good. so i called them and they towed back. they said they had to replace the engine wich took them 3 WEEKS to do it so i had to ride the bus. 6 months after they changed the engine it broke down again and i had to pay them another $ 500 so they can fix it again. I tried to talk to a mgr but there wasnt any abiable everytime i went in ther. so finally they bougth the car back but i needed to buy from them again so i did and is been six months again and guess what “the engine is breakin again” so i recomend you no to buy from them and tell all your friends because they are the most rude sales ppl i ever meet.
