I have met with the salesman Richard about a half dozen times over about 9 months about buying a new Mazdaspeed late this summer. Last month I asked for a trade in value on my current Mazda and they were offering several hundred dollars below trade in. I told them that I might wait for the 2013 and they pushed to try to transfer a 2012 from another dealership. I then received a letter in the mail stating they were offering 120% of NADA trade in value for my car which was almost twice what they offered a month earlier. I walked iin the next day and said that I would settle for a 2012 if their letter was legitimate. They came up with all sorts of excuses on why there is a value discrepancy with my letter's number and what they wanted to give me at the dealership. Richard and the salemanager Jerry Janninck said they would look into this. Richard called me later that day and asked what it would take to make a deal and I told him to honor the offer letter. They never called me back

We were looking at used cars. They don't have prices. They pushed us to sign that we were going to buy before they told us the price. When they finally let us in on the secret it was $2600 over the price they had listed on the web. It felt a little creepy at first. It kept building and building and ended with a salesman chasing us out of the parking lot, "we really want to buy your car!"
