I was in the market for a vehicle, we found one at Tom Wood Kia. Sticker price was 4900. It was wrecked in the back and missing a mirror, also had a flat tire. After about an hour of negotiations we settled at 4100 for a final sale price agreeing upon them fixing the tire and the mirror. We were approved for the loan and returned the next day with our money down, signed the contract and left with the car. A week later we get a call from the business manager, Bad business manager if you ask me. Saying that the bank called them and said they had a minimum loan amount of $5500 dollars. and that they would give us our money down back to make the loan amount higher and just raise the price of the car to offset the difference. BOGUS, I called the bank and they said there was no such call made on their part. either way it wouldnt matter, I have the legally binding contract signed by me and their Bad business manager. Long story short Ive enlisted an attourney to make sure my credit isnt to damaged by this, I found out after the faact that they had send my numbers off to 6 different banks who all pulled my credit report for a loan around $14,000 which is ludacris since our car was only $4000. TOM WOOD KIA IS NO GOOD STAY AWAY
