I attempted to buy a hyundai sonata gls from northpark hyundai. I negotiated in good faith with these people. I was offered what looked like an “offical” offer. I accepted the offer, but blake(the salesman) rescinded his offer. He said that some mistake was made. The only mistake made was blake trying to rip me off. These people are dishonest and underhanded

Complaining to the bbb is a waste of time. It is especially a waste if the company is a member of the bbb.

STAY AWAY and BEWARE! I have never been more disappointed attempting to buy a car-have to wonder if they would have tried to pull this stunt with a man? I doubt it! What a huge WASTE OF my TIME and effort! Don’t waste your time with Eddie Tourelles Hyundai! Even with the numbers detailed and provided in writing they tried to cheat me after I traveled in to buy the car. Even more frustrating was the fact that I had the salesman go over the numbers once before he transported the car in from AL AND again before I left my house to travel 30+miles to get to the dealership. I made the mistake of telling him I was in a rental, think he/they thought I would buy it regardless of that they pulled on me. We are not talking about a huge amount of money but a matter of principle. If it was a ‘honest mistake’ (which was the explanation) why not eat $350.00 to sell me a 38K+ car? [actually $750-they 'graciously' offered to split the difference with me:(] I WAS FLAT OUT LIED TO and was purposely misled! Bait and switch-the oldest trick in the book. I have excellent credit so I didn’t feel ‘tied’ to this dealership-even still the numbers were not what I was provided. Even after going over the entire car (pre-sale inspection) and driving a rental to the dealership I WALKED OUT rather than feel cheated and be manipulated. I didn't want to give in to an underhanded scam and then feel cheated for the next 8-10 years-each time I looked at the car. These are the kind of tactics that give salesman a bad name. I called to verify what was in writing twice-what more could a person do? Report to the BBB is next.

Yeah, he really likes being chaueffured around. I think I may be in trouble he may never drive the two of us around again But, it is a great car and I’m loving every minute of it we’ll see how long Ashley’s Taxi Service lasts. For the moment, I really don’t mind Oh, and I’ve definitely played around with all the buttons in the car as soon as I got in it. I’ve never had buttons to play with. Wow, how wonderful technology is

I would reccomend anyone to northpark hyundai in covington everyone is friendly and they are very truthful they do not pressure you in anyway.If I had to buy a car again I would definitly go back to them
