My All American Ford reviewService Department is OK, but getting past the secretary is a joke. I purchased a 2009 Lincoln Navigator from Westwood Lincoln Mercury which has since gone out of business unfortunately. In purchasing that vehicle I had two free service jobs (Lube oil and filter). The first time I tryed to make a weekend appointment at all American, this proved to be impossible. I had to bring my navigator in during the week. In doing so I had to take time off from work. Arrived before 8:00 AM and a 15 minute service job took over two hours. I had to ask if my truck was finished secretary blew me off. The service manager heard my request and said is was finished, which it was. The secretary said I don’t see any keys so it’s not done! The service manager was out side the secretary’s office reached in with out looking and handed me my keys. That was nice of him.
On my second visit I needed warranty work (bad coil), so I dropped the vehicle off. I also asked for two additional hub caps as one went missing in action. When I picked up my navigator I should have asked for the hub caps. By the time I got home I realized I did not have the hub caps, and by the time I got home it was too late to go back. Next day I called the dealer and got the secretary. She told me to hurry up and pick them up tonight go up front. I had to leave work early to get to the dealer in time as I work in the NYC. When I arrived I was told go back to the service department they have your hub caps, which I did. The lovely secretary was too busy counting bandades to help me. The same person that told me to hurry up and come pick them up tonight. She also told me we don’t have your hubcaps go up front they do. I went up front and you guessed it we don’t have your hub caps “COME BACK EARLY TOMORROW MORNING.” I blew up. I purchased two Lincoln Navigators, and at least four Grand Marquis. can you believe these guys. Because I started yelling at the top of my lungs one of the salesman started to square off with me. I told him don’t even think about it buddy. Someone finally figured we better help this guy. We will get the service manger from Hackensack to come over and look for you hub caps (since I paid for them). No way when you get my hub caps send them to me.
I am a loyal customer I love my navigators and paid top dollar for them. I will never go back there again. I will find another dealer. Kiss my foot All American. Can you believe some bird has been leaving messages on my phone that I am severly overdue for service. I have been taking my vehicles to my locale station, and it’s cheaper and faster without the attitude.

My All American Ford reviewSaw ad in paper for great price on Ford Edge called to see if it was still available Bryan assured me it was and asked me to come look at it. I showed up 90 minutes later, Bryan was too busy to see me so Travis said he would show me the car. We walked outside and looked around and then Travis remembered that that car was sold 5 days prior. Not to worry he said we have several more available. The only catch was they all started $7000 above the advertised one. Text book example of “Bait and Switch”. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!!

My All American Ford reviewThe absolute worst service imaginable.
After I purchased a used 2009 Ford Flex they FAILED to complete and process the necessary paperwork for me to get my registration and insurance in my home state of Massachusetts. The one thing All American Ford is good at is NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH ON THEIR WORD. The staff is also very incompetent and well versed in shuffling you around from person to person while keeping you on hold for days on end. Simply the worst dealer experience I have ever encountered. The Ford Motor Co should pull this dealership.
Bottom line: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!

My All American Ford reviewMy 88 year old father went to All American Ford to price a new Ford Focus. When he found a car that he liked with the dealerships best price, I was to return with him to finalize the deal – a basic model with automatic transmission and standard equipment. The salesman high pressured him into a model that had every imaginable option in it including electronics of which he has no knowledge including ipod input, sirius radio, cd deck, and automatic powered sun roof. It also had heated mirrors and the most expensive wheel covers. When I saw the Sales Contract, I could not believe it. The next morning my son went back with him and the sleaze-bag salesman hid. The manger realized that my father was unaware of all the bells and whistles, what they were and how to use them, and were not what he needed or wanted. He said since the check had not yet changed hands the contract would be invalid. That is not the point, the point is that a US World War II Navy Veteran who served in active duty in the Pacific, living on social security and fixed income was almost fleeced by an unscrupulous, high pressuring salesman. I’m sure he’s gotten away with these tactics before, so beware and stay away.

Jasmine
My All American Ford reviewI sent a request for a quote via internet. Although I got countless, emails from a Jasmine and tons of phone calls, I never got my quote. I am busy and prefer to start out my search with a quote online which most dealers provide. In fact, AAF has a link for one, but instead of responding to the inquiry with a quote send A LOT of replies asking if this is a good email and phone number to be reached at. I replied a couple of times asking for the quote, but finally sent one telling them to just forget it. The phone calls continued for weeks. Today, I happened to pick up. I told Jasmine, the sales girl, that she didn’t need to call anymore bc I bought a car somewhere else. She wanted to know what car and where. I told her I didn’t need to tell her that and hung up. She called back twice to tell me off. Great customer care.

My All American Ford reviewBought a 15 passenger w/10k cash.
Immediately brought it back, bad gas mileage was told its normal. AFTER the warranty expired they charged me 1k didnt fix the problem check engine lights coming on and tranny shifting funny they replaced the ride control module, turns out it had a bad wiring harness that was locking the torque converter and eventually burned the tranny for another 3400 this time at aamco hackensack who fixed it right. my gas mileage went up 25%. it cost me 26k miles at bad gas mileage + 4400.00 total. What a ripoff.

My All American Ford reviewMy experience at this dealership was horrific to sat the least. It went from the finance guy, STEVE refusing to come from the podium to talk because he was busy eating pretzels (oh, did I mention i heard him say “i’m not f***ing coming now?). To never calling to say they couldn’t work out a deal (after 4 weeks), to me deciding to go to the sister dealerhip in the hopes of better service (which I did receive from Tom Stass). This guy is amazing he was able to get me 7K additional funding when the sister dealerhip and STEVE didn’t even try….to somehow for some reason Tom was transferred and the dealership (Art Liberman, General Manager) didn’t even think I should have been called a notified that the sales guy TOM was gone and I would close the deal with someone else….to going to the dealerhisp and being told things like “Well if you had a better credit situation we wouldn’t be in this siutation, and “yes, I know you signed the contract but anything can happen between here and there, a number could be off and that could delay the pick up of your vehicleor being told they “don’t make special arrangements” when in fact I know they do. It just depends on who YOU ARE AS THE BUYER (I hope you can read between the lines)…to the General manager saying he would do everything in his power to speed up the delivery of my car, like sending someone with the documents to the finance company, which would have given me my car the same day, only to find out (from a spy in the dealerhsip) that Art, sent the papers in the mail, leisurely, and that is why its 4 days and counting and I still don’t have the car that I signed a closing contract for. The bottom line is it was and is (I still don’t have the car) an ugly situation…..Go to Diblasi Ford in Queens, they can relate to people like me, African-American, credit issues, and just a person who wants a car without being treated like crap!

My All American Ford reviewOh where do I start. I purchased this vehicle in 2004. It was brand new and my first American truck. Let me start by saying it will be the last American vehicle I ever purchase! I started having problems within the first few months. The first issue; the vehicle had was stalling when going from reverse into drive. They were able to find the problem the first three times but not the forth (it still happens). The next issue was with the cruise control. I was on the Garden State Parkway in the fast lane, when the truck went to accelerate it just died…shut off….dead…..ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY!!!! They said “well we couldn’t make it happen so……we couldn’t fix anything”. I have never used the cruise since. So the next big thing was, early one morning I went to open the rear hatch door..THE DOOR FELL OFF!!!!!!! I had 21,000 miles on the truck and the door fell off!!!!! The service department wanted me to pay the whole bill because the hinge is a movable part and was told not covered. In every instance I have had to deal with them, there has been some problem.
The latest fiasco with All American Ford was not a direct issue relating to the overall repair on the vehicle as it was with the level of incompetence in the Service Department. I brought my truck in because the ABS and 4X4 High lights were coming on and the truck was making a strange sound when you would take your foot off the accelerator. I made an appointment for the truck to be fixed and reserved a loaner car. I dropped my car off the afternoon before….no loaner. I had to get an enterprise rental in which AAF would only cover $28.00 of the $35.00 a day charge plus I had to pay the taxes and $5.00 a day rental tax (so much for the FREE LOANER!!!!). After not hearing from them about the status of my truck I called. I was informed that the truck wasn’t even looked at…..I made an appointment and they didn’t even look at it. I stopped in the next morning and asked what was going on and was assured that it would be looked at that day. That afternoon I called and found that the truck was done (sensor replaced) and that the Warranty company had not yet paid them. I called again around five PM and asked what was going on? they stated that they still hadn’t been paid and that they leave at five and the warranty company doesn’t pay claims on the weekends. I left an event to drive to the dealership to get it straightened out, after two hours we found that the fax machine at All American was not working (service dept). They gave me another fax number and said it would be there. I left figuring I would be able to pick it up first thing Saturday morning. Well they said they never got it………ANOTHER TWO HOURS LATER…….I FOUND 3 FAXES FROM THE WARRANTY COMPANY NEXT TO THE FAX MACHINE ON THE DEALER FLOOR!!!!! When I asked what the hell was going on they said that they thought that fax number was upstairs!!!! INCOMPETENCE IS NOT AN EXCUSE!!!!! and its NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Overall I would not recommend this dealer to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I have now filed complaints with the BBB, the FTC Bureau, the Ford Motor Company. Needless to say my confidence in the American vehicle is in the toilet. I will never purchase another American vehicle again. In addition I will be selling the truck and purchasing a Japanese truck. How unfortunate!!!
