I took my Ford Escape Hybrid to Cerritos Ford because my engine was overheating.
I was told that they only have ONE Hybrid trained technician and that he was not there. *This isn't the first time that I've taken my Hybrid for service and there has not been a Hybrid trained technician present.
This time, however, was an urgent service since my Engine overheated. *I was told that I could leave my car but that it was not certain that they Hybrid technician would be able to even take a look at my car the next day.
I was also told that Ford no longer gives out loaner vehicles.
I find this to be a TOTALLY *unacceptable level of service. *If my vehicle is just going to sit around in the service lot for an unknown amount of time then I would require a loaner vehicle in order to get to and from work.
I think it's also completely unaccpetable that there isn't always a Hybrid trained technician who can at least diagnose a problem with a Ford Hybrid.
I'm really concerned about this and not sure if I'll ever buy a Ford ever again.
