My Thorobred Chevrolet reviewThe only pleasant part of this transaction was the initial salesman. Let’s face facts, salesmen are nothing more than Walmart greeters. They have absolutely no control over the deal. The sales manager was a complete jerk. Condescending best decribes the attitude in the finance stage of the purchase. I knew I had stellar credit and also knew what the incentive was for interest rate. Yet, he still had to try to stick it to me. I wound up with a payment which was $120 less than what the sales manager originally quoated after I walked out. That’s $8640 over 72 months! No integrity or scruples

My Thorobred Chevrolet reviewThis dealership was horrible from the get go. Before buying I had a sales rep tell me he wasnt helping me until I told him i was buying the car for sure, and said he was done dealing with my “bull****”.
My car at the service department was being smoked in, I had ash and cigarette wrappers all over my car, and i’ve had the mechanics whistle at me as I go by, VERY professional.
My new car a month after I bought it had a mysterious oil leak, awesome inspection job Thorobred! Also they refuse to fix my sunroof thats been broken since 2 weeks after purchase.
This dealership is a living hell and I will no longer return for any services.

My Thorobred Chevrolet reviewI paid cash for a 2009 Jetstream blue Corvette. I was told by this dealership that it was a one owner Vette. I later found out (after purchased) that there were 4 owners before me! I will never buy any vehicles from this dealership! NEVER!!! The sad part is I would have bought a new Vette if I knew the truth. I later bought a Tahoe in December. BUT I went to another dealer. They lost a cash buyer for life. I tell everyone that asks my story.
Update: I have sold the Vette. I was very unhappy with owning a 4 owner Corvette! Will buy a new one from Gateway Chevrolet! Still no apology for the lie about Corvette. THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A ONE OWNER VETTE AND A FOUR OWNER VETTE!!!!! Poor custom can cost the dealership tens of thousands in dollars. They loose not just customer they upset, but the customer’s family, friends and coworkers….

I was asked what I was looking for and not pressured to purchase something “less” than what i wanted. My salesman was wonderful and the whole process was done honestly, which I cant say about any other dealership I’ve dealt with. I would highly recommend purchasing from Thorobred.

My Thorobred Chevrolet reviewWent in to buy a Tahoe LTZ and agreed on a price and completed the finance paperwork. Saleman told me my rate should be around 5.99%. They called later and told me I was approved but my rate would be 7.99%. I told them I still wanted the truck but was going to check with my bank for a lower rate. I called the next day and they told me they sold it but would give me a similar one for the same price. Only problem is the one they were trying to give me was less money. Not sure why I would pay the same price for a cheaper truck.
