My Affordable Auto Sales reviewwas sold a 1999 gmc sierra from this dealership was told that the truck was checked buy a mechanic there on the dealership and everything was ok boy was i lied to the following problems happened after i bought the truck 1.fuel pump2.the a/c was out had to spend 900 dollars getting that done 3. brakes went out 4 then i had it checked by a mechanic here in town and found out it had even more problems wrong with it totaling over a staggering 1700 dollars on top of what i already put into it if you chose to buy a truck from this dealership have it checked out by a mechanic first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
My name is Melanie Warda & I am the owner of Affordable Auto Sales. I have been in business for over 11 yrs.
This customer did not communicate with us regarding any problems with his truck, I would have gladly taken care of all the issues that arose after his purchase. Not once, did we receive a phone call or complaint. We do inspect ALL of our inventory. A fuel pump on a GMC P/U is the most common thing to go out & who’s to say when it will, the truck obviously started when he bought it & there after. We can’t tell when a fuel pump will go out… in a week, month, year but I do know we have fixed several & would have easily fixed his too. As far as the A/C, this could have been something we passed up, but $900 sounds outrageous! It sounds like he was taken…which is unfortunate. I could have fixed it for him for no money out of his pocket. Lastly the brakes…..Brakes don’t just go out, they wear out. I don’t understand what happened but I would have gladly fixed the problem had he just let us know. I do suggest when you set out to buy a used vehicle you keep in mind what your looking for. This gentleman bought a pick-up truck over 10yrs old that had been on the road for over 130,000 miles. It’s hard to predict what will happen in time, but again had this customer just communicated with us he would have been very happy & satisfied but he never gave us a chance.
I have had nothing but great experiences with Affordable Auto sales!! I have bought three cars from them in the past few years and have never been anything but happy. Melanie and Lucy treat you like family and really go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your purchase. I even had trouble with a locking mechanism in one car I purchased and they came right out to help days after I bought the car. If you talk with them they are reasonable. I would definately refer friends and family to them (and I have on several occassions).
