My Koerner Ford of Syracuse reviewI brought a car from Koerner Ford. I did not have the car for more than a month when I noticed the car had no heat, the back window leaks and it has problems starting. I contacted Koerner Ford to set up an appointment to get the heat fixed. I dropped my car off tuesday morning and was scheduled to pick my car up wenesday afternoon. I received a call saying that it might be finish by friday because they needed to order another part. I asked them about transportation while they are fixing the heat. They offered me reduced rate rental fees. The rental company contacted me without my permission.. And offered me $30 a day fees with a $200 deposit. Worst place to get a car for. They take there time fixing the problems with you car. And they dont check the car out fully before selling it. If I would have known I would have not purchased from them.

My Koerner Ford of Syracuse reviewI called with a question regarding my Fusion and was treated very badly. The old woman was nasty, abusive, and arrogant. I had heard this about their employees and found it to be accurate and did nothing to elicit this kind of response. They are unprofessional, deceitful, liars, and just what you expect from a car dealer. It’s people like them that give ‘car-dealers’ the bad name they have. They’re a total rip-off. I’ll drive out of town before doing business with this bunch.
I would NEVER reccommend them to anyone. Don’t waste your time.

My Koerner Ford of Syracuse reviewI called and made an appointment for the truck to be serviced.( Tuesday ) I asked if they could have it done by the weekend. “Joe” No problem it will be done. Thursday I called, truck not done ( Still working on it ). Told them I had to have it by the weekend. Friday, still not done, told them I would pick up Saturday morning if it snowed (it did). I picked up truck and was told that one of the issues was fixed (passenger door ajar switch) but they couldn’t get to the other issue.
(Exhaust Manifolds).They said they fixed the door ajar switch in the drivers door. Hmmm that wasn’t broke. OK you ready… Heres the kicker. The truck never moved from the parking lot. This is all on video, the truck was set up, due to previous issues with other company vehicles. Koerner please clean up your service department. If you like taking advantage of people you are doing an outstanding job 5 stars.

My Koerner Ford of Syracuse reviewI was trying to buy a car from this dealership and once we came to a fair agreement they sold the car to someone else before I could get there. Then that person’s loan did not go through so of course they got hold of me. We came to an agreement again…this time just doing some minor repairs to the car ( I agreed to pay the asking price as long as the repairs were done). We had an agreement via internet and I was driving about 100 miles to finalize the deal. Before I got there I checked my emial via my cell phone and guess what….they sold the car right under me. Unbelieveable!! They are liars and cheats. They promise things that they will not stand behind. Run from this dealership….it is sad that this is allowed.:(
I saw this review, and I really needed to respond. You were told about the damage in advance, and you were sent pictures of the damage. Most places would have let you make the drive and be surprised when you arrived. I made sure you were aware of everything in advance. If you do not put a deposit on a vehicle, it is available for sale. You never put a deposit on this vehicle. There are 9 other salespeople at this dealership and we are all trying to sell the same cars. Koerner Ford has been in business for 50 years, I have been here for 11 years. I have prided myself on being honest and upfront, and so has this Dealership. I am sorry you are upset, I wanted to sell you this car as much as you wanted to purchase it.

My Koerner Ford of Syracuse reviewI went into Koerner Ford to have work done on the rear axle of my vehicle after being made aware of an abnormal amount of rear axle play by an independent auto-mechanic. Koerner Ford billed me for the replacement of the ring and pinion gears. Months later I returned to the original independent auto-mechanic for the first time since having the repairs done at Koerner Ford and he notified me that there was no change in the rear axle play. I returned to Koerner Ford and requested a refund a couple times which they denied. I had two independent auto-mechanics check the rear axle and both have indicated that none of the work Koerner Ford billed me for was ever performed. They continue to deny any wrong doing and refuse to give me a refund. I have been forced to take legal action against them in this matter.
Update: I took Koerner Ford to Small Claims court and successfully won a judgment against them in the spring 2010. Unfortunately, it only covered about half of the money they charged me for work never performed.
