Bob Johnson Chevrolet does not treat their customers as though they are important or if they are the only ones they are servicing. We were looking to buy a 45,000 truck and we wanted specific options included in the vehicle. Joe made no effort to locate us a truck that we wanted. He instead showed us a compariable model. We looked at this model. When we said we liked this model, however we would like to have 17" wheels, not the 16" wheels. Joe made a snoty comment "Well, you can add 20" wheels afterwards for all I care" Is this how they treat all their potentinal customers? Is this how their sales people are trained? We believe we were treated this way due to us being upfront about our discount. We receive a supplier discount for GM vehicles. At that point, he did not want to help us find the vehicle we are looking for, just tried to rush us out for a test drive and force a purchase. After stating we did not like the wheel size and a few other options, he still tried to push a truck that we didnt fully like on us. After 2 hours of truck viewing and questions about add ons and what we were looking for in a truck, his sarcastic, negative attitude turned us off to Bob Johnson. We purchased the truck from another local dealership that took the time to locate a truck we wanted and that would add the options we wanted. Bob Johnson does not value their customers. |

Bob Johnson delivered my vehicle absent a window sticker and after assuring me the contract reflected the GM employee discount pricing I had been approved for, I drove off with the vehicle. After multiple requests for a window sticker, 3 weeks later I received one and was suprised to find they had charged me $37.84 over the sticker price (retail) anf failed to give me the GM Employee discount pricing which was almost $2500.00 less. GM Confirmed the dealership was paid the discount amount. Bob Johnson said we had made "side" & "verbal" deals contrary to what the signed contract stated etc. We now have complaints filed with the BBB, the attorney General as well as GMAC, GM & Chevrolet. What is the most ironic about this is that I was purchase/leasing my 3rd brand new vehicle from them since 2004 and they basically stole my employee discount and thus far have refused to correct this. here is what there website says http://www.bobjohnsonchevy.com/why_christian.html 1 Thessalonians 4 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. I just wanted you to know that I love to help with your automotive needs, even if you just have questions. No purchase is necessary, however it’s fun to say yes, let’s do it. God’s Blessings, Please...........I would think twice about making a purchase there unless you have a lot of free time to file complaints, an extra few thousand laying around that you can be conned out of and you have a really good lawyer. |

Truck was in for inspection. Came out ok. 2 days later red light in dash goes on. I checked it, and the power steering fluid was dry. Ok, I refilled it myself. Then the other light goes on. The gas cap was wrenched. Point being. The fluid level was not checked per the inspection. The doors are never oiled by them despite complaints to GM for decades now over a bad design. And, the emissions control should have been caught when they inspected the car. So, at times they are kids at work. And only that. They upsell the service end. Saled dept good. Phil is good who oversees the maintainence dept and stands behind the customer for the most part. But, the techs behind the computers are hired typists in white shirts and know nothing. |

I purchased a car about three years ago and everything ran smoothly until the sale was final. I was assured that I would receive the stock rims to my car because the salesman's "buddy" was the one who traded the car in. Winter came and still no rims. I ended up just purchasing other rims for winter tires. Three years later and I have yet to see them. I went back to the dealership to see the employee to see if I could get his "buddies" phone number so I could see what was going on and he refused to give it to me . He said he would call me if he heard anything trying to brush me off and then I asked if he even knew who I was which he did not remember so how was he supposed to contact me. All I was looking for was an answer which i still do not have. The second issue I had was the tint on the windows. We just wanted to know if they were legal and he said he brought them to get tested and said they were fine. Three weeks later i got pulled over because the tint was not legal. BUYERS BEWARE!!! They care about you during the sale and apparently not after. Satisfied with the car but not the way agreements were handled. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING!!!! |
