My husband bought a pontiac G6 from Thomas auto mall two years ago. This car was brand new straight off the showroom floor. We have since had to have the CD player replaced three times, had the tires replaced, had the cadalydic converter replaced, replaced multiple fuses and it makes weird noises. Everytime we go to the service department they treat us like we are morons and dont know what we are talking about. When our dome light wasnt working we took it in to get a fuse replaced. The employees said that they had checked the fuses but nothing was wrong so they were going to have to do an electrical diagnostic that would cost us $110. We refused because we knew that it was a fuse, took the car home and had our brother in law look at it. Sure enough it was a bad fuse, they just failed to mention that the car had 3 fuse boxes... Weird since they are a pontiac dealership and they should know the ins and outs of their cars. We also had to replace the CD player twice. The first time the employees sent the player to California with 6 of our CD's in it and it took over a year for them to reimburse us. Last winter our tires were completely bald. Keep in mind the car was less than a year old being we bought the car in March and it was only January when this took place. We slid on the road on numerous occasions barely avoiding accidents. When we took the car in to the dealership they told us it was our fault because we didnt rotate the tires properly. I'm not stupid. I know that after 10 months of driving a car the tires should not be bald, I dont care if you dont rotate the tires or not. They were regular tires, not low profile tires. Besides, we had taken the car in for routine servicing every 2 months, they should've at least told us to rotate. We ended up contacting the better buisness bureau because they refused any responsiblity and were going to make us pay full price for the tires. Finally after almost two months of the run around they agreed to give us a credit of $125, barely enough to cover one full price tire. By that time we had gotten into an accident and had broken a rim so we had to replace that out of pocket too. The $125 was pretty much a slap in the face. Just two days ago out cadalydic converter went out. Of course thomas wanted to charge us for the diagnostic but lucky for us the part itself was under warrenty so we didnt end up paying. But lo and behold, one day after getting the car back from them the gauges, every single one of them, stopped working... So we have to go back again and get them to fix the problem, which I am sure they are going to want to charge us for. The moral of the story, THOMAS AUTO MALL IS THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP EVER, they take advantage of people to make a quick buck and customer service is virtually non existant
