Complete scammers. Do not buy from these piece of _-_-_. If you do buy from them, READ EVERYTHING PERTAINING TO CONTRACTS, ETC!!!! I bought a car from them, and they explained everything out, and I agreed to some stuff and declined some other optional packages and warranties......Several months later, I was looking for a phone number to toyota, and actually re-read some of the contract, and they added on a bunch of crap (several thousand dollars), that I specifically declined to pay for. I was told to sign one sheet to verify I DECLINED a premium maintainance package, and they printed on the contract, that my signature is to ACCEPT the package. They also told me I had a 100,000 mile warranty from TOYOTA. Turns out they sold me (without my knowledge) a 100k mile warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services, Inc. for $1100. Serra gets a pretty good % off all the contracts they (serra) sells for Fidelity. Then Fidelity refuses to pay for any repairs made. Click this link to see how Fidelity runs, also check out the BBB and other consumer reporting groups http://ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searc htype=0&submit2=Search%21&q5=fidelity+warranty All in all, this experience reminded me of why every single comment I've heard about Serra, was derogatory. Also, dont buy a car from a sh!tty stealer, like Serra, anywhere close to the end of the sales month. That's when the pressure is on the boy's to rip you off, to meet their quota's. |
